BTW-Never read comments on FB because people are total tools. I commented to the OUAT one to let them know that I appreciated them finally releasing this and that I’m hoping for Neal to get his happy ending. Haters gonna hate but I’m gonna post anyway and shut you down, LOL š

Right. I’m trying to not get my hopes up right now. It’s hard not to see that the other non-JR6 folk got posters before their significant episode. So…what could this mean? Or it could be that ABC just released it in order to shut people up.

If the timing of releasing this poster was calculated, then it makes sense that the second chance in the tagline is SF related, because we’re getting it right after the ep where Neal was left sitting alone in the Diner, believing his second chance was a bust, and the poster is saying, “Don’t give up hope in that second chance.” We didn’t get the poster back when he was going through the struggle with his relationship with his father, and we’ve heard him use the term “second chance” in relation to Emma specifically. So it all seems to point towards hope for SF to me.

Yeah, I’m suspicious of the quieter way they released this poster which I think means one of two things. One, that they finally got wind of something Neal related that happens this week and were always planning to release this poster now to set things up for it, or two, they kept it low key because while they don’t want to alienate their SwanFire fans, they also don’t want to tick off the loud CSers by making a big deal about it this week. It could be a combination of both but I seriously hope they don’t look at the online fandoms alone for these types of things because we are NOT the majority in the overall OUAT fandom. We’re only like, 10% of it so while some things get really annoying for us,I think there are many Joe and Jane Schmoes out there who aren’t posting on a OUAT message board and are probably rooting for Neal to get a happy ending with Emma.
Meh, I’m not gonna be negative anymore…we finally got the poster and it’s THE SAME ONE. š š š That has to mean something and I can’t wait to find out! At this point I am going to be really upset if we never see that Swan pendant again. You just know Neal didn’t get rid of it after Emma gave it back to him in NYC. I have this awesome image in my head of him giving it back to her as a promise that he’ll always love her, and her telling him that wearing it all those years wasn’t really to remind her not to trust people….she wore it as a reminder of what it felt like to be truly loved by someone. š

The NewCurse is cast, and as it rolls in, Neal whips the swan out of his pocket and says, “I’d been waiting for the right moment to give this back to you, and if this Curse is about to tear us apart again, it’s now or never.” Then she kisses him and *POOF* the NewCurse disappears because TLK just saved the day.
Note: I don’t actually expect that to happen, because based on the promo it looks like if anything happens to stop the NewCurse, it’s gonna be done by Regina, and I’d actually love it if she’s the one who manages to save them all from this NewCurse, considering she’s the one who punished them all with the OriginalCurse.

"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"While I’m thrilled by the promo pic of Neal and I do believe in second chances, I’m also purposefully keeping my expectations low in case things don’t go well for SF. In fact, I’m still expecting things to get worse before they get better, not because I’m not hopeful for the future of SF (I am), but I’m trying to be realistic about it. As much as I would die of happiness to see the swan pendant again by 3×11, realistically I don’t expect to see it until end of S3. That seems like an end-game thing, and Neal told Emma just this past episode that he’d quit bugging her if she didn’t show up to lunch. Even though Emma was on her way to meet him, she got diverted when she heard the BF’s cries for help, and so Neal might fallaciously believe Emma made her choice. So, as much as I would hope to see that swan pendant, my realistic side tells me Neal doesn’t want to come across as too pushy to Emma. Now, if Emma is the one who brings it up, then I’d be all for that! I’d love to see the eminent arrival of the curse cause Emma and Neal’s love to gush forward as it did in 2×21 when Neal dropped through the portal. Yet, sadly, I still think that the new curse is going to get in the way and that cursed Emma is going to make goggly eyes at Hook, as we saw in the promo for 3×11. And then come the plaid pants in 3×12. Who knows though? And now it would seem Jennifer and Colin were filming scenes together in either 3×13 or 3×14. It’s going to be a lot of CS coming our way in the early part of S3. My one consolation is that they may be cursed. Or maybe it’s Neal who gets trapped in Hook’s body (justkiddingnotkidding)
