That might be a good thing, as far as the show is concerned, because A&E don’t seem able to sustain a long story.

I mean Emma would share TLK with anyone. She’s literally True Love Incarnate. If, in S1, she went around and kissed everyone one by one, their curse would break one by one. It’s the same thing that happened in Firebird when CSers think they got TL confirmation but it was more that Emma would save anyone in that situation because 1) she’s a mostly decent person and 2) she’s TL incarnate.
Henry is her ultimate true love. With him she was able to break the whole curse. With him she was able to fulfill her role as savior in the finale.
Not with Hook. Not even with her mother and father.
With her child that she had with Neal. That’s true love. That’s destiny. That’s fate.

She’d toe the company line and be positive whenever asked about it in interviews. But she’s also the one who chose that wedding dress for Emma, and do we really think that JMo has no idea about the implications of that particular dress? I don’t think it’s coincidence that Emma has gradually become more haggard looking over the last couple of seasons. I think that was something that JMo was projecting, because of how she felt about the nonsense they kept giving her to say and do on camera. What was the comment on her haitus haircut photo…3 years of baggage cut off, or words to that effect?

Well if you’re a conspiracy theory nut, there’s been a lot of chatter that JMo has been sending messages to ABC for awhile now through social media (mostly Instagram) that some read as “executive producer or I walk…” type. (I’ll try to find the EFNewsService post where they laid it out….)

But, basically, if made EP I guess JMo would have more creative control over the show–stories, direction, and character. It makes one think, to be sure.
