What made her reach for her jacket was Neal, the idea of opening up those wounds again. Because once you start, you’re never going to stop. Once you go down that path (one of many paths as my OTP declared in their own little party scene *insert happy sigh here*) it’s you’re future. And I think that’s really frightening for Emma, that she can have the future she’s always wanted. She can have Tallahassee.

In The New Neverland we saw Emma and Snow parallel each other because both were scared to take moments with the ones they love because of some sort of danger that always seems to lurk around the corner.
And then I remembered Snow’s speech at Joanna’s grave site.
MMB: I made the ‘right’ decision, when I stopped Regina’s execution all those years ago. When it could’ve saved us all of this heartache. All Emma wants, I think deep down inside, is her happy ending. She wants her family and her home and her life. I think Emma really wants that fairy tale ending, but things keep getting in the way, so she keeps running. As long as you run, then you never have to stop and take the happy ending, which is what Snow ultimately decides to do.
And I think this goes back to what a lot of you have been saying, that Hook is the “running path.” Emma is staring at a few options and she has to decide to fight for her happy ending. Until then, she’s going to run. and this is how I’m rationalizing JMo and colin filming so much for the past few episdoes

Random: I REALLY need people to stop sending hateful tweets to MRJ because I get madder and more frustrated with people every single day. If you don’t like Neal that’s fine, but then why are you following him on Twitter and giving him crap about his opinion on things totally not related to OUAT??! THAT IS SO ANNOYING. He seems like such a great and kind hearted person (he was upset about that guy in Texas who drove drunk, killed 4 people, and got off on charges because his parents are rich and they apparently ‘didn’t teach him the right values’…some random twit gave him a hard time about his opinion and he reposted what they wrote which was pretty bad) and I can’t even imagine how much other crap he’s taking from fans. I know actors have an insane type of ego protection and all (you’d have to have that in order to be an actor in the first place) but you start wondering how much they can take when you start seeing it for yourself. I hate haters!!! (((MRJ))) 🙁

For real! That one person was all, “stop being such a Neal”, or some crap, and I wanted to reach into Twitter and slap them. URGH! And the amount of CSers who posted crap on his promo poster on FB, just, GRRRRRR! I’m sure he’s dealt with enough unreasonable fans in his time that he doesn’t take all the nasty comments to heart, but still, he’s a HUMAN BEING, and people are so unreasonably mean towards him. I just wanna hug him. *sigh* And I love him for speaking out about the things he does.

I had to refrain from saying something to her. It’s so rude. Poor MRJ 🙁 I love his passion though. He is so admirable and I actually being educated from his tweets because being from the UK, I hadn’t heard about the affluenza case or that rape insurance bill. Seeing all the Neal hate is so tiresome, especially when Adam always replies to the same select few who do it.

Sometimes I feel we are the little dogs who are wanting the SF crumbs that fall from the table. With the heavy CS promotion this season, you wonder if will even get a little crumb in of Swanfire in this Winter Finale. Lets hope our faith and dedication pays off in the end.

And this is why we were so excited to finally get Neal’s poster. We’ve been treated rather unfairly (as has Neal himself) by ABC. Can’t spell his name right, send out false press synopsis (yeah, i’m looking at you 308), give out his poster dead last (maybe deliberate but maybe not), and keep putting pics of Colin and JMo out on Twitter. I get it’s a numbers/money game because that’s their job but MAN. All we want is a just tiny bit of recognition. We’re not SQ. There is an actual romantic relationship happening with our pair. And I’ve seen so many posts lately about how SF got two good things (CaptainFairy pic and Neal’s poster) and the CS worrying over it and I’m just like, “marketing ain’t writing. Calm down and let us enjoy stuff”

It’s like what PP said in 3×1, “It’s easier to get people to hate something than to believe in it.” (paraphrase) And this applies to some very small-minded people who confuse fiction with reality. People have sent Ginny Goodwin hate via Twitter because they hate Snow White. It’s a “blame the victim” mentality or “praise the villain” mentality, only these simpletons are blurring the lines of fiction and reality. They actually seem to think the actors are somehow the same as the imaginary characters they watch on TV. It’s quite sad actually and decreases my hope in humanity.

*Sign* There’s just so many immature hate towards the actor. I really feel for MRJ having to deal with this crap. I don’t like it when people say “They’re actors, they’re suppose to deal with the public.” just to justify they’re stupid messages. Because you know what? It’s not ok. Even though they’re in the spotlight, they are still people with feelings. I can’t imagine how I would feel reading those dumb tweets. I remember there was a nasty hate thread on IMDB towards Henry, wishing he would die and then proceeding to bash Jared on his acting who’s just 13! And he actually saw it!!! and tweeted how sad he was with the hate towards Henry on IMDB. OMG I just wanted to die right there. I can’t even…with these people…it was totally unnecessary and made me feel so ashamed of the fandom. A few of us supporters made a Henry appreciation thread, to show that not all of us feel that way.
I try to be very vocal in supporting the actors and their characters. I posted some words of support of MRJ and swanfire on FB. It’s one thing to hate the character it’s another to bash the actors and think they’re like their characters in real life. It’s a TV show people. I don’t hate Colin because of his Hook character. He’s a sweetheart in real life 🙂 But Hook is a villian and that’s how Colin plays him as, it’s his job. Hater’s are loud, we just have to be louder in supporting the show and the characters.
