I wonder if Neal gave Hook instructions on how to get Emma to trust him by sending her over to his apartment to retrieve something.I think what ends up happening she sees their Dream catcher by chance (mirror how she found it the last time unexpectedly) which ultimately leads to her taking note for the first time that she doesn’t have the swan necklace on. Therefore buying what he has been trying to tell her. Potential for hopeful some Captain Fire development now thinking about it. Will Hook play up or downplay Neal to Emma given that cursed Emma’s last memory of Neal is believing he never loved her and set her up to go to Jail.
Really good question, it’ll be interesting to see what Hook does or doesn’t tell her about her actual, un-Cursed relationship with Neal.

Spring training starts in February. 😀 And you can always watch Curling with me and RG. We plan on live chatting the Olympics since our “Sleepy Hollow” and “Dracula” will be done by then. We shall get through this together.

Ok going by the spoilers pics that we’ve been getting for 3×12 and 3×13, it’s seems to suggest that everyone is in on the plan to find Emma and make her remember again. I distinctly remember shots of everyone is FTL garb, and Charming giving Hook the same blue potion that we’ve seen Hook give to Emma in NYC police station. Also Charming grabbing Neal’s arm (maybe to stop him from going after Emma himself?) I’m theorizing that they’re all in on the plan and they gave Hook the mission. I think it’s clear that Hook has some help getting to our world. How did he jump realms? He has no magic, how did he get the blue bottle? He has no idea of the significance of the dreamcatcher (which is clear now that Emma is gonna find it again, probably with Hook’s help since Emma’s memory was wipe of her meeting with Neal in “Manhatten” episode so she wouldn’t have known about his apartment) Neal would have had to tell him about his apartment and perhaps bring Emma there for her to see the dreamcatcher or any other items

MRJ is such a great actor but some people don’t give him enough credit. Neal isn’t a weepy character and he is more laid back. He occasionally gets worked up but for the most part he is easy going and holds in his emotions. Now some people either can’t relate to that or don’t like that. They prefer the teary-eyed super passionate type of character but not everyone on the show can be that. Not to mention just because Neal doesn’t show his emotions constantly on his sleeve doesn’t mean that he doesn’t feel. He feels a lot and he is passionate but he also wants people to be happy and will step back if that’s what they want. I just hurt so much for Neal this episode. I just wanted to give him tons of hugs. I could see his devastation in his eyes and hear it in his voice. Not all actors can do that.

GAH, now I’ve got this whole Neal dialogue playing out in my head and it’s making me emo again. “Tell her about the dreamcatcher. Tell her the story of how this one time, she and I snuck into a hotel room, just like we always did because we had no home, so had to scrape by and steal showers when and wherever we could, just like we had to steal food, and anything else we needed to survive. *pauses and smiles sadly at the memory* This one granola family had left a dreamcatcher in the room. Emma said it kept the bad dreams away, and I could do with some flypaper for nightmares, so I kept it. It’s hanging in the window of my apartment in NYC. Tell her that, take her there, and seeing it will prove to her that you know me.”

- Not to mention that she never stopped loving him, and he’ll never stop fighting for her.

I just saw something on Tumblr which did upset me (I should know to be more careful but I was curious…). A former SF/Neal fan decided they hated Neal this episode because he didn’t react enough to his father’s death and just stood there. Hello? Are we even watching the same show!?! Not everyone is going to react the same way first of all. Secondly, did you see his face!?! He was broken, devastated, in shock! Nealfire is not overtly emotional. He isn’t going to suddenly burst into tears and start sobbing like crazy. He’s just not that type. I can understand because neither am I. I personally just lost my own father this summer. And it’s still hard to talk about but I didn’t cry at first. In fact it took me several days, only at his memorial service and his funeral did I cry but it still wasn’t sobbing but the tears wouldn’t stop. That doesn’t mean I didn’t love him. It doesn’t mean I didn’t care. It just means that we all react differently to tragedy. To assume that Neal didn’t love his father because he wasn’t “emotional” enough. Ugh! It kills me. If you don’t understand Neal, fine but don’t paint him to be this emotionless person because you don’t get him. Sorry, rant over.

My heart is just not in a good place after this episode. With Emma, Henry and Neal being separated and Rumple gone to who knows where and Belle sobbing on the ground, I don’t know which way is up.
Must get some sleep.
