KeymasterHook just seemed way more into Emma than she was into him.
I’m never going to be tired of repeating this:
“I had to try. It was a long shot. I was hoping you felt as I did.”

Keeper Nealfire's/Bae's scarf, Henry and Neal's bribery ice cream sundae, Baelfire's sword, the coconut map, and more.

ParticipantHook is definitely way more emotionally invested in his “relationship” with Emma than Emma is which is never a good sign for any potential relationship. It means Emma would feel rushed into things.
Neal gets Emma, so their potential relationship has staying power.

Lovely!
She goes for him! She initiates it! He initiated the hug in the cave when they found each other and SHE does it here when she’s about to loose him again.

ParticipantAgree with that completely. I got an interesting vibe from Neal in this episode. I can’t quantify it, but it was almost like he already had a plan. Might take him a bit, but he was going to see them again. He didn’t even doubt it. Or Emma. (I’d expect nothing less; Neal’s nothing if not resourceful. How many worlds did he adapt to living in? Can’t have been easy, ever.) And oddly, I think it applies to his father too. For some bizarre reason, I think he might have an inkling that what happened to Rumple isn’t what it appears. And he’s going to find him, too.
Okay time for some crack theories. Going of of what was said here that maybe Neal has a plan. Now this way left field and may not be possible but what if during that time between Regina telling them that they’d all go back to FTL and seeing Emma and Henry off at the border, Neal ran into Regina’s office and got a piece of the magic bean plant to plant them again in FTL? I don’t know how he knows it was there (in Regina’s office) or if it is still viable but just what if?

KeymasterYes. Basically.
Leave his home and everything he knows so his father can become the man he was again – nope. Instead he’s lost and his father becomes even more of a monster for the next 300 years terrorizing a hell of a lot more people.
Sacrifice himself for the Darlings. Nope. They all got abducted and used by Pan anyway.
Leave Emma so she can break the curse and find her parents. Nope. She lost them anyway.
Schmacky continuing to kill people on her/his site

So true. Everything Neal related is just killing me since I saw the episode. And itunes is randomly playing incredibly fitting but painful songs. More than anything, I still can’t get over that Neal has just lost another year of Henry’s life 🙁
