The reason I don’t think so is due the look of shock on Emma’s face when she sees the dreamcatcher. She looks amazed, dumbfounded and confused.

I agree. it takes two things to bring back memories, if you’re using the BF’s potion. We saw Hook with the potion in NYC but that alone doesn’t do the trick. You need some sort of talisman. Belle had Chip and Sneezy had his drinking glass. But for Emma, maybe it’s not only a matter of drinking the potion, but maybe she needs to be in proximity/holding the object that she values most. (this is getting shippy) and that’s the dreamcatcher, the first real symbol of home for her. The pendant is a symbol of Neal’s love, the car is a symbol of their first meeting, but the dream catcher is a symbol of the idea of HOME

My headcannon is he saw it finally, that gave him hope that he gave to Emma.

I agree. He saw the bug. But at that moment he couldn’t go, “you kept our car?” cause the world was ending.

Now that Emma and Henry are cursed to have no memories of Storybrooke or the Enchanted Forest, I’m wondering what Emma named her son. At the end of 3×11, we only heard Emma call him “kid.” I would expect the name Henry Mills no longer to exist, because that was the name he got when Regina adopted him. By contrast, Emma would probably have given him a different name and he would have the last name Swan now. I wonder what Henry’s new given name would be!

In my head, when Regina gave Emma new memories she ensured that Emma would have named her son Henry. And she would still be Emma Swan, right? She was Emma Swan in Tallahassee, when she introduced herself to Neal. So I’m betting it’s Henry Swan. (Henry Neal Swan…:))

Yeah, Emma Swan would still be Emma because she has the same memories up until Henry was born. Yet, I’m not sure if Regina would make Henry keep his name or not. It would certainly make things easier to keep his name the same. I would love it if he had his father’s name somewhere in there. Would Emma have given her son her own last name or Neal’s last name? Henry Cassidy? Henry Swan? I’m not sure.

Here are BTS photos from 3×11 that Raphael Sbarge supposedly posted on FB

HAHAHA. I love how he makes her laugh in real life. She’s always saying that they get along the best on set.

I hope the writers kept his name as Henry because otherwise that’s going to get really confusing! Pondering: Could the guy we’re supposed to meet in the next episode, the Chris Gorman character, be a foster brother or a best friend or parole officer, I don’t know, someone important for Emma that she met around the time she had Henry and possibly could have named him after because he helped her put her life together again? If that’s the case, then both of them being named Henry, we heard chatter around the time of filming that his character was going by the name Henry, makes a little more sense in the story and keeps continuity for the character while also giving Emma a friend to be with her as she tackled single motherhood. In my head cannon, this guy is like a brother to her (even if he isn’t an actual foster brother) and could easily be dropped back into the story later if Emma needs his help with something related to the WWW in Storybrooke (this would fit with them saying he could appear again later in S3).

I just thought of something else that I’d like to see happen in S3 pt.2. In my random head cannon for Neal in NYC, I’ve always thought that he put his life together again and created his life there with the hope that someday he’d be able to reunite with Emma and have them be together there. He always wanted to provide a home for them so this was a chance for him to show her that they could have a life together there. Dare we hope that maybe he’s been doing the same thing in the Enchanted Forest for this last year and creating a home for them there? He all ready believes that he’ll see them both again and if he worked hard to create a life in NYC for her, why wouldn’t he try to do the same for both her and Henry in the EF? I don’t know if I explained it very well but hey, it’s in my head and my head is not in that great of a place overall. 😉 I feel like I really need to see this happen now and it’s not even officially part of any story yet….let my therapy bills begin, LOL 😆

That picture of MRJ with the hook and Jen laughing is one of my favorite pics ever! She does always talk about how much he makes her laugh and knowing now how emotional those scenes were for everyone, I bet this funny moment was SO needed by everyone in the cast that day! 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀

    I really want a MRJ hug. 😉

This is my headcanon about this guy: I think he is her best friend who is also her ex-foster brother. I think his name is HENRY. She named her son after him, or at least she thinks she does. Regina made sure it was Henry but Emma think it is for other reasons. I’m not sure if it can work out that way given that the past is still the past…but you never know? Just so long as he is not another love interest!
