@ladykatiaanne @onegirl8 or a flashback… or dream… or illusion… or 2nd half of season… there are oh so many options. Not a spoiler.

[adrotate group="5"]September 19, 2013 at 12:59 pm #210811RumplesGirlKeymasterHaving seen the newest sneak peek anyone else notice how snippy she was with Hook in the beginning. Emma is not a woman who is going to forget Nealfire anytime soon and go running into Hook’s arms

Hook gave her Neal’s sword!! And then they toasted to him! And I wanted to weep!! That scene was really well done, loved it.
September 19, 2013 at 1:11 pm #210817RumplesGirlKeymasterI’m starting to think that maybe CS will be very onesided. That it will just be Hook pursuing Emma and Emma be all, “step off, Pirate!” There is no way she’s getting over Neal before he turns up or they find out he’s alive.”
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"September 19, 2013 at 2:16 pm #210831PheeParticipantJust saw this post on tumblr in relation to the sneak peek and FEEEEEEEELS…
Everyone are freaking out about sneak peak but can we put aside CS and talk how Emma’s voice cracks when she says:” He was always Neal to me.”That line IS SOO important to her character because , imo, she was thinking about fact that he never told her about his FTL identify, she basically figured it out herself. She never had ocassion to meet Bae, cause he never gave her one.
That line shows her broken. That line shows her lost.
http://nava155.tumblr.com/post/61684080861/everyone-are-freaking-out-about-sneak-peak-but-canRG, this is why I’ve been thinking lately that the CS relationship might evolve slower than I’d previously been expecting, and depending on when Neal shows up again, who knows what stage CS will actually be at when things can get legit triangle-y with them all in the same world. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out.
September 19, 2013 at 2:31 pm #210834SlurpeezParticipantSpoiler alert: I tried everything to get my spoiler code to work, but so far it hasn’t. Is there a bug? I miss the old forum in which all you had to do was hit a spoiler button.

Emma’s eye rolling was a classic sign of annoyance. It’s what 12-year-olds do behind their parents’ backs.

I agree! Emma never got to fully know the man she’s loved for over a decade. Now she probably feels robbed of the chance to ever get to know him fully as she would have wished. Here Emma is doing pull-ups for a fight, and probably thinking to herself that if she could only have been stronger, she could have held onto Neal longer to save him. *I’m making myself tear up.*

I agree! I think Hook will bide his time before he makes a romantic move on Emma again, out of respect for Baelfire. I will actually give him major props if he does this, and it will actually make me admire him more as a possible contender for Emma (even though I’ll always consider Neal as Emma’s intended).

YES! YES! She’s getting ready for a fight because she doesn’t feel like she as prepared before and then she lost the man she loves! ARG! Feelings!

*sigh* It’s a bug. Sorry if anyone got spoiled.
I think Hook will take his time as well but I also wonder how far it will actually go since I think Neal might return to NL by 307/308.

Emma was annoyed at Hook, at the start, but when he was being serious, she relaxed a bit. She still held her self stiff, and there was nothing relaxed and flirty in her manner. Her mind is still on Neal and on Henry. I also noticed the devastation in her voice when she mentioned Neal. Hook’s account just went up in her book, but I think it also went out of the flirty-fun let’s Dr. Whale it up here zone for both of them. I don’t think it was ever really in that zone for Emma, but I think Hook is reevaluating her. Ironically, that means if something happens I think it would be more serious to both as I think they will build up a real friendship.

You’re making me tear up too! Urgh! 🙁 Don’t remember if it was someone on the forum or someone on tumblr, but I read a comment somewhere that suggested that Emma’s run in with Rumple could have been him blaming her for not having held onto Neal’s hand. Which, just, FEELS, because Rumple’s spent centuries beating himself up for not having held onto his hand, and now he’s transferring that self loathing onto Emma. Same thing as what he did when he beat up Mo, screaming about how he’d hurt Belle.
Being in NL, the place where Bae lived for a couple hundred years, will give her some new insight into him. When she sees what he had to go through just to be able to survive, having to deal with the likes of PP and Felix, it’ll give her a new understanding of the guy he was when she met him. And Hook will probably fill in some Bae details for her along the way as well. Basically, her whole time in NL, she’ll be learning more about Neal, and will have a physical connection to him too, because of that sword. I can see her having a whole new appreciation for him by the time they meet up again.

This is why I’m not overly worried about the “triangle” being one of those sensationalistic things that’s just done for romance drama. If/when Hook and Emma do become closer, it’s because Nealfire is bringing them closer together, because they each have their own personal relationship with him too. So any emotional drama will be genuine, meaningful evaluation of feelings on each of their behalves, as opposed to flippant, sexually fueled desire type drama. I think it’ll be really interesting to see how it all develops.
