ParticipantSF Family FEELS.
I love this about Neal. He’s only known for a couple of weeks that he’s a father, and look at him putting his kid’s needs and well being before his own.

ParticipantAnother nightmare at my retail job tonight and I’m totally exhausted from all the cleaning, crazy customers, piles of shoes, and running around like a chicken without a head. I wish I had a SwanFire pretty thing to share with you (and I LOVED reading all your great posts guys!) but I found one that I posted below that seems to work too since we’re all feeling a little restless now, LOL 😉
OHHHH, I found an interesting pretty thing! 😀
Swanfire AU: After Baelfire escaped Neverland, the Shadow brought him back to the Enchanted Forest. Still on the run from the Dark One, he lives as a fugitive in the North Kingdom, finding refuge in the woods at the edge of the castle grounds.
Princess Emma, the adventurous eldest child of Queen Snow and King David, stumbles upon Bae hiding in an abandoned cabin on her parents’ ground. The two fall in love, meeting in secret— until Emma discovers she’s with child, and Bae makes the decision to come out of hiding for his family.

I like this one even though I don’t agree that Neal’s love for Emma is “twisted”…
Hehe, love this last one too even though it’s smallish especially since MRJ uses this phrase a lot on Twitter, LOL 😉

KeymasterBOOM!
Love that 🙂

KeymasterNow that I’ve had my morning coffee:
I really love that confession about how Neal stepped up to be a father. Seconds after he finds out he’s a papa and all he wants is to be there for Henry. Neal wants to break the cycle of abandonment which is one of the things I love most about him. He knows what it is like to grow up without a father and he hates how he did it to his own son (even though he never knew that Emma was pregnant).
Also that GIF set of Emma having never stopped loving Neal. Oh the feels.

KeymasterOh this might be one of my very favorite confessions!

KeymasterAn interesting insight from Schmacky
Why have we not talked about this moment? Or maybe we have but I missed it.
Neal looks nervous. Scared. He’s not sure what his father is going to do. And that makes him nervous. Perhaps for a split second he thought he should stay back with him just in case. But his father wanted to be alone with his own father. Neal just looks very uneasy right now. And I think those minutes when he was frozen and powerless as he watched his father give his life for them all he could have thought, “If only I had stayed back with him.”

That is an excellent observation. And now that scene of Rumple talking to FrozenNeal is gonna hurt even more the next time I watch it!
In other, more hopeful news, here’s a thing I just read…
Theory time…
Emma lost the memory of returning Neal her swan pendant. The whole new memories stuff is still a bit unclear but I believe memories of Neal giving her the keychain and receiving car keys with it in jail are intack. I’m not sure though about her memories of the pendant after she leaves hospital with Henry. Let’s assume that Emma’s memories about the pendant (it was only a small sentimental detail after all) weren’t altered which creates a tiny loophole in the curse.
So what if, after seeing the dreamcatcher Emma subconsciously tries to reach the pendant on her neck but it’s not there. And that’s the moment when Emma realizes that something is wrong. Because it feels like it should be there. But it’s not. It’s gone.
It’s an interesting point to ponder, will that missing pendant have any significance? Does Emma just think she lost it somewhere? Or does she not even notice it’s gone, until something triggers her to realise it? And if so, could it be a vital piece in the puzzle of her getting back her memories?
