It’s an interesting point to ponder, will that missing pendant have any significance? Does Emma just think she lost it somewhere? Or does she not even notice it’s gone, until something triggers her to realise it? And if so, could it be a vital piece in the puzzle of her getting back her memories?

I almost feel bad for saying it- I have Oncer friends who ship them very much and play them up as this major romantic love story that I just don’t see. Yes, sometimes I can see their point, and I have to admit that Hook and Emma have chemistry. I didn’t care for Hook much at all last season, and this season he has grown on me a lot, but I still don’t want him with Emma. You know, I think what it is for me is that I saw Neal as Emma’s true love from the beginning. It’s very poetic- daughter of Snow White in love with the son of the Dark One. So when Hook was introduced as another love interest, I saw him as an obstacle- almost as jarring to me as if someone came between Snowing or RumBelle. So even though I’m trying to keep myself open to the idea that CaptainSwan could happen, I’m having trouble being comfortable with it and so far cannot bring myself to read any CaptainSwan fanfic.
