While I also love the globe moment, I think my absolute favorite moment was Neal’s speech to Mulan when he talked about how leaving Emma was the biggest regret of his life. He talked about when you love someone you can’t keep it inside and Mulan’s comment back to him about how he let his fear of rejection overpower his love for Emma was very powerful too. It was such an amazing scene and I could feel Neal’s regret at not making the right choices when he had the chance.
Agreed. Such a good speech!
Honourable mention to the moment when MAP asked him how he knew Emma and he didn’t know how to describe their relationship. It made me chuckle, because it was so real and fitting.

sidenote: I wonder if Neal will be able to see his family from the crystal ball to see how they are doing okay or will that be to painful for him. I wonder if that crystal ball even will come back to play, because Snow and Charming can use it to catch glimpse of Emma and Henry from time to time.
Maybe that’s how Hook found Emma? Neal told him where to go?

Harder because Neal wasn’t in this episode, but I think it would Emma fighting the lost boys with Neal’s cutlass. Even when he’s not there…he’s there. The sword basically replaced the pendant.

I’ve been trying to catch up with all the wonderful pages of stuff from the last week, so I may have missed someone with the same theory, but I started to think this morning that maybe events in 3×12 may happen like this: Hook stalks/harasses Emma until she gets him arrested. While he’s being arrested he tells her to go to Neal’s apartment because there’s something there that will show he’s telling the truth (ie. the dream catcher). Emma can’t squash her curiosity so she goes, has a moment with the dream catcher and this room filled with Neal (who knows, maybe he has other stuff of her’s there). She doesn’t remember everything, but it’s enough to make her go back to the station and have Hook released and makes her receptive enough to listen to what he has to say.
It’s just a theory (one built on what we’ve already seen in spoilers), though IIRC it looked like Hook gets arrested in the same place that he and Emma are seen hugging, so I might be completely off track on this. Who knows!

My Swanfire moment for 3.2 is bittersweet, but during this episode we realized that both Neal and Emma were both a lost boy and lost girl, both could hear the cries of the lost children. So that heartbreaking moment of Emma crying over the map showed me how Emma and Neal connected so well with each other and have the same motivations and goals. All they truly want is a home and family.

This one is from Neal’s perspective about how he looks at Emma with regret because he knows he’ll never find anyone else like her. He decides to do the brave thing by facing his past mistakes, and he humbly apologizes for them.

A real man of honor does what Neal does by admitting his faults, seeking forgiveness and also forgiving his own father. Neal is now trying to offer hope to Henry and Emma by saying he will see them again. I’m keeping the faith that Emma will give Neal a second chance, because they love they have is the kind that endures even when it seems like all hope is gone.
