Emma + Baelfire = Swanfire

Pretty much Eddy telling us that we will get some pain in Swanfire but once they are all reunited in love their would be joy.

It like this verse, “A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world.” (John 16:21 NIV)

Another quote makes me think of Swanfire, Snowing, and Rumbelle (Although moreso Belle, Rumple is learning):

4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails.13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. (1 Cor 13 NKJV)

Okay 3.6 Ariel, My favorite part was Emma confessing the truth about her heart and feelings to Neal. I love that Neal sat their and listen to her and when she done he gave her a deep heartfelt hug of understanding and love. ( Like Snow/Emma in Lost girl, side note: Emma sort of said the same things to her mother twice, but neither are giving up on each other.) I also love that Neal told her he never will stop fighting for her! I think she needed to hear that despite everything he will always have her back because his love for Emma is unconditional, she doesn’t have to love him for him to love her. He will still fight for her, Henry, and her family.

sidenote: This reminds me of the time told Mr. Gold that he was family on the Jolly Roger. It also reminds me of the time when she refer to Gold as her dad! Just like Neal and Emma said this little guy saved us to her fake pregnancy. Sentences like that are not just tossed in for no reason. I think it was little bit of foreshadowing by the writers. Perhaps some day Rumple will be a father law to Emma. And we already know Henry is saving his family and help bring them together!

Favorite SF moment from 3×6: well, first what didn’t I love about that episode???

I loved the confession in the cave, obviously and I think my favorite bit of it was “the pain WE went through.” I think Emma recongnizes that both she and Neal have been victims of fate. They’ve had their lives manipulated and toyed with for purposes and reasons outside their control. She knows that Neal has been hurt too, that they were in this together.

And of course, “I’m never going to stop fighting for you…” :’}

Glad I’m not the only one who noticed that little tidbit too. Nothing is a coincidence on this show….nothing at ALL. 😉

Marty, true they have not had them kiss although there has been not flat out reason to have them kiss. The only slight opening I think they had for a swanfire kiss was during their Goodbye, and that could had easily been just a peck on the cheek. With CS their was a set up was there for a kiss, Hook help by her Dad sometime, Emma was feeling good after talking to Henry and having some hope in finding him and Hook implied to her that he would rather have a kiss as form of gratitude rather then a verbal thank you. Emma obliged. So there was some sort of set up for a kiss. Not so quite a storyline set up with Swanfire. Even when Neal told his father to help saved Her father there was not kiss there, because it was suppose to devised a contrast. That you do the right thing because its the right thing to do.

One thing I wonder, because Emma was avoiding Neal at the dinner she missed Rumple giving her father the elixir. She also missed the Part when Rumple tell the Charmings we are family now. Something Emma said to him on the Jolly Roger. Another thing I notice during the dinner, Snowing was at the dinner, Rumbelle was at the dinner, Hook was sort of with Tink, Henry was with Regina. Emma and Neal were both alone. Neal in booth twiddling with his coffee mug and Emma at the beach fiddling with her phone. It makes me go hmmm.

I wonder if the writers were specifically avoiding opportunities for an Emma/Neal kiss.  There wasn’t even an innocent kiss on the cheek as they said goodbye.  I agree with the people who believe that when a kiss does happen it will be epic and a clear demonstration of true love.  Maybe it will bring back Emma and Neal’s happy smiles, too.

There was so much to love about 306!!!! Think I’d list the HUG as my fave moment though, because it came immediately after her emotionally loaded confession, and there was NO hesitation from him. A few moments before that, he’d said she could tell him anything, and she told him everything, and his instinct was to immediately hug her to let her know that it’s OK to feel what she feels and she can be honest with him without fear of judgement, because he just wants to support her.

Oh they’ve totally been deliberately avoiding writing a kiss situation for them. As soon as it happens, they’ll be confirmed as a TL couple, so the writers are having some fun making it hard for them and messing with the audience while they still can. That’s the purpose of the triangle, to be another obstacle for them because it adds to the awkwardness of how they interact, and so the writers can draw out their reunion and avoid that kiss situation a bit more.

I’d love it if when the kiss does happen, it doesn’t get spoiled in the promo or sneak peeks. I say this as someone who lives for spoilers, but I’d love it if none of us knew that kiss was coming until we actually saw the ep and then *BOOM* (that’s the sound of thousands of SFers simultaneously falling to the floor).
