Such lovely SF GIF sets and fan videos! I especially love the video at the top of this page. The song is perfect and the editing so well done.

I just read the recent TV Guide spoilers, and I’ve gotta say how annoyed I am by the blatant media bias for CS. Aren’t official spoilers meant to give hints about actual plot developments, not just pedal speculation for the sake of creating hype? Seriously? There is going to be a wedding by the end of S4 (most likely Rumbelle) and we have to put up with Emma and Hook wedding speculation? Seriously, are we even watching the same show? Hook and Emma aren’t even a couple right now! *sigh* Okay, end of rant. 🙂

    On an upbeat SF note:

I really agree with this “OUAT confession” because the S2 episodes which packed the most punch for me, emotionally, all included Baelfire and/or Emma. “Tallahassee,” “Manhattan,” “The Miller’s Daughter,” “Second Star to the Right” and “And Straight on ‘Til Morning” were the best episodes of the second season.

Most of the reaction I’ve seen from CSers is that it would be too soon for a CS wedding. I have seen one or two posts on tumblr from people who still think it’s possible, but the majority seem to not be considering it. I think Keck is a bit of a CS shipper and has talked them up before, so that’d be why they were even mentioned in the article. Would be nice if professional media writers could keep their personal bias out of it, but it is what it is. *sigh* Emma shouldn’t be considered an option at all for the wedding. There are 10 eps before the finale, and Emma’s currently single. She ain’t marrying anyone by season’s end.

@Phee I completely agree! Emma should not even be thinking about marriage right not to anyone (unless she’s currently engaged to Chris Gorham’s character while she’s cursed). Other than the reason that she’s cursed, I think Emma has too much emotional baggage still to work through. Same goes for Regina, which is why I can’t see her and RH walking down the isle yet by end of S3 (they haven’t even met yet!). I think if Cursed Emma does consider marriage, it would be to a new guy, one who doesn’t come with as much baggage as Hook or Neal (there I said it). However, when Emma gets her real memories back, she is still going to have to embark on a new quest to save her parents and possibly Neal. I think there is a lot that Emma and Neal would have to talk through, too (they never got to have that chat over lunch yet). That doesn’t mean Emma and Neal can’t or won’t work through their issues (I think they eventually will), I just think it’ll take a long time. I could potentially see Emma getting married by the end of S4 at the earliest, since she already knows Neal in a very deep way, trusts him as the loving father of her child, and has an enduring and lasting love for him.

the fandom as a whole seems to agree that it can’t be Emma at all. For which I am grateful that at least we all agree on that. Keck is a total CS fanboy. He is constantly teasing them so I didn’t read anything into that except that he’s obviously playing a majority for the sake of website hits.

    Really love that confession.

Yep! I can’t even begin to describe how much a true man of honor Neal has become. He’s made plenty of mistakes (though self-sacrifically), but at least Neal owns up to his mistakes, doesn’t burry them under the sand, and apologizes for them! He’s not self-deluded into thinking Emma owes him anything; he’s simply trying to make things right by being a comforting protector for Henry and by extension, Emma. He’s doing his upmost to be there, but still letting Emma come to him. He’s not making demands of her.

Also, I want to say how much empathy I have for whoever wrote this confession. Shame on people like Hook who really bully and mock people who have disabilities in real life. What’s just as wrong is to try to justify the notion that bullying and jeering at someone is somehow acceptable. Hook is self-deluded if he really thinks he’s man of honor.  People of real integrity don’t pretend like they never make mistakes, don’t refuse to apologize for wrong doing or hypocritically point out other people’s shortcomings when guilty of the same offense, only worse. I’m not saying people can’t really change, but the first path to redemption is to start by confessing one’s sins. Just look at Rumple and Regina who both self-identify as villain. Yes, they’ve antagonized innocent people, but at least they admit it! By contrast, Hook doesn’t even acknowledge his errors!

On the 14th day of January, the SFer’s gave to RG:
14 trips to the pub with Tinkerbell
    13 Bags of Pixie Dust
12 Archery lessons from Robin Hood
    11 Loyal Lost Boys
10 Plates of food from Granny’s
    9 Objects Ariel “borrowed”
    8 Sneaky fairies
    7 Dwarves a drinking
6 Anton sized mugs of Hot Chocolate with Cinnamon served by Regina
    5 RumBelle kisses
4 Times Neal makes puppy eyes
3 Snowing saying “I will find you”
    2 Henry hugs
and Emma kicking Hook in the balls!

All magic comes with a price!

I have seen a lot of confessions like that one. It reminds me that Hook was originally brought in to a villain that could match Rumple. He was only ever supposed to be a reoccurring guest star villain. And yes, threatening a cripple who was trying to get his wife back..it bothers me greatly.

    *marries this post* 😀 😀 😀 😀

Thank you so much for being amazing voices of reason about those random ‘spoilers’ saying that a CS wedding could be happening at the end of S3. I thought I was way over sleep deprived when I first read speculation about that while on vacation and thought I was losing my mind when people thought that was a great idea. Seriously?! That might actually make me stop watching the show if they somehow make that happen in eleven episodes. How anyone can think that would actually happen this season makes me shake my head. This fandom drives me nuts sometimes….OK, most of the time, LOL
