ParticipantHELP THIS VIDEO HAS KILLED ME
*crying* Nealfire is the Lost Boy to Emma’s Lost Girl…… It’s times like these that I must turn to poetry.
Continuities by Walt Whitman
Nothing is ever really lost, or can be lost,
No birth, identity, form–no object of the world.
Nor life, nor force, nor any visible thing;
Appearance must not foil, nor shifted sphere confuse thy brain.
Ample are time and space–ample the fields of Nature.
The body, sluggish, aged, cold–the embers left from earlier fires,
The light in the eye grown dim, shall duly flame again;
The sun now low in the west rises for mornings and for noons continual;
To frozen clods ever the spring’s invisible law returns,
With grass and flowers and summer fruits and corn.[adrotate group="5"]"That’s how you know you’ve really got a home. When you leave it, there’s this feeling that you can’t shake. You just miss it." Neal Cassidy

ParticipantReposting, because we could all use a friend like Snow White in times like these. Snow encouraging Emma to have hope Neal is alive is keeping me going.

ParticipantYes! This show gets so dark sometimes, and Snow White brightens it up.
“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?” -- Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass

ParticipantI’m glad RC is back, but to be honnest I was never worried about him : he’s so precious, I can’t think how, unless he asked, a show would let go of him. Don’t get me wrong, I love Lana, I love Emma and most of the cast but RC is special.
I was hopeful about Neal but tonight I am so depressed. And to the CSers lurking, please don’t take this bad , I am only stating MY opinion, wich only belong to me.
I’m depressed because if Neal dies, and yup, I actually might end up stoping to watch : how can you KILL someone who kept always trying to do good for others, it’s aweful for a show about fairy tales.
And when I see Hook, it’s true I never liked Hook to start with, to me he is a bully… But serously, killing Neal and keeping Hook when Hook never showed regret for what he has done? If there’s a “nice cosy scene” with Hook and Henry I’ll totally be done. I don’t wanna sound bitter but killing Neal is one thing, but stop with puttin Hook on a piedestal. Rump and Regina have disserved their redemption, Hook hasn’t. And seriously if these things happens, well this show will do on me the exact opposite of what DInsey movies are supposed to do : it’ll make me super sad. Im’ naive, but in my world generosity and thoughtfullness should be awarded. Not vileness.
Sorry guys, this just depresses me. I’m depressed about a show, that’s scary ^^

ParticipantI wonder if they’ll do a fake out death before the actual death. Hook and Neal are the favourites to go. I think they might make us think Neal is dead then at the last moment, Boom, Hook cops it.

It’s not naive to look for good in the world, to root for the underdog, or to hope that generosity ought to be rewarded, especially in a fairytale that is supposed to be about hope, family, redemption, and reconciliation. Those are beautiful and noble things to hold onto and why I’m rooting for Neal. Hang in there! We don’t know anything for certain until the season returns. Until then we have each other!

I can’t help but wonder that, too. It seems like they’ve been hinting at a climax between those those characters. I contend that they’re literary foils of one another: Neal is selfless while Hook is selfish. Hook learning to do the selfless thing for the boy who represents his son figure would be an amazing way to show real growth and would be a natural conclusion for his story arc
