Speaking of CaptainFire, just saw this speculation on tumblr…
It’s season finale. Wicked uses the DO dagger to force Rumple to kill his own son. Hook gets between them. Gets stabbed instead. Dies in Neal’s arms after apologizing for all the mess he made. His final words: “I told you… I could change…”

And speaking of tumblr, here’s another thing I just found and wanted to say “PREACH” to…

Literally one of my biggest pet peeves.

“He was so cute and sweet what happened?!?!”

Oh I don’t know, he got abandoned by his parents, watched his father become the dark one and be feared by everyone he grew up with, fell through a portal alone because his father chose power of him, was forced to live on the streets in an unfamiliar world as a kid, sacrificed himself for the only people he considered family, got betrayed and handed over to and then held captive by the nastiest person he ever met (who turned out to be his grandpa in a child’s body), lived in a cave alone for HUNDREDS of years and lost so much hope that he stopped counting the days, was smart enough to find a way out of the literal hell he was in and finally got away but then, while still a child, had to once again fend for himself and grow up alone on the streets in an unfamiliar world with customs and technology he was clueless about.

Yeah, I wonder what happened to him. What a mystery. I can’t seem to place my finger on what possibly could have made him who he is today.

Everything that happened to cute little Bae when he was a kid is what shaped him and lead him to where he is today. And you know what, he still has faith in the good in people and believes the best in them, hasn’t turned to violence or “evil” as a solution to his problems, admits to and learns from his mistakes, is trying to be the best father he can be now that he knows he has a son, puts the needs and lives of others before his own, is willing and ready to face all of the people and places that scarred him to help the people he loves, and works towards forgiving and trusting those who caused him to be alone in the first place. What a terrible, terrible guy.

Anyone who can truly love Bae but truly hate Neal and not understand how one became the other needs to reevaluate their thought process.

This is a great essay to keep on record when you hear misconceptions about SF:
    Common Misconceptions About SwanFire

Christopher Gorham has been spotted in one of the leaked pics for 3×16! Remember this recent spoiler from TVGuide?

Christopher Gorham appears in that episode. What’s his connection to Emma?
Horowitz: Chris is an old friend. We worked with him onPopular a million years ago. We love him and we’re so excited that he agreed to come aboard.
Kitsis: We called him and said, “You need to do this for us.” He was great.
    Horowitz: We love his character.
Kitsis: He’s an integral part of two characters’ lives.

I’m tinkling whoever Chris Gorham is playing (possibly the Wizard of Oz), he might be connected to Emma and Neal. The way Adam and Eddy raved about his character and specifically called upon their old pal, Chris Gorham, for the role (despite him being a star lead in another full-time show) means they really wanted him for something BIG. What if the two characters whom Chris Gorham’s character is integral to are Emma and Neal? He might’ve known each of them separately, and he might even play a hand in reuniting them (maybe). Chris Gorham was on set for 3×16 last night, and now tonight MRJ and JMo are filming tonight in studio (possibly together). I’m of the opinion that Swanfire aren’t only endgame but that they’re like Adam and Eddy’s children as their own creation.

    Here is my theory

I suspect Malicifient is the WWW’s sister

What if the WWW wants revenge on everyone for what happened to Malicifent What better way to get revenge

I think she wants revenge on Rumple for creating the dark curse, Neal for being the reason it was created, David for putting the true love potion inside Malicifent in her dragon form , Regina for casting the curse, trapping her sister in dragon form, Snow for being the reason Regina cast it, Emma & Henry for breaking the the curse, Emma for killing Malicifent in her Dragon form, Hook for killing her sister yet again.

I do believe the WWW is controlling Rumple with the Dark One Dagger

I think with Emma’s 2 sets of memories she now has Neal & Emma decide that they don’t trust Regina, with their son, they don’t want the WWW to get to Henry & take his heart, They don’t want Henry to be cursed So I think while Emma with her parent and everyone else Neal takes Henry to Hook and tells him that Him & Emma have decided they want to send Henry someplace safe away from SB and they tell Hook to take him back to the Enchanted Forest. Where he will be safe from the curse & the WWW I think Black Beard is in league with the WWW and he is summoned to deal with Hook. I think Hook will end up sacrificing his life to Save Neal, Henry & Emma there by redeeming him. I think Emma is finally going to be able to see things from her parents point of view shen she was a baby and the curse was coming and they had to send her away. And she wil finally see things from Neal’s viewpoint. All of which will lead her home to her parent and Henry and most importantly Neal. I could definitely see Neal & Emma making the same decision to keep Henry Safe that Snow & David did for her. I could see Neal & Emma trusting Hook with their son as the lesser of the 2 evils.

    Here is my theory

I do think the WWW is related to someone and wants power. However, instead of being Maleficent’s sister, I think she is Regina’s sister. There was a spoiler that talked about the WWW having taken over Regina’s castle in the EF. Usually, sisters compete for thinks like power, boys, wardrobes. It makes sense. I do like your idea that Blackbeard and WWW are working together!

PS) Don’t forget to add spoiler guards 🙂

I haven’t totally ruled out the possibility that WW could be Maleficent’s sister instead of Regina’s, but even if so, I think WW’s main focus will be Regina. She’ll enjoy messing with other people too, but they won’t be her focus, just like Regina enjoyed messing with everyone, but Snow was her actual focus. It’ll be like the tables are turned on Regina, and in this new situation she is in a similar role as Snow was with her.

I can’t see Emma having LESS trust for Regina now, if anything it should be the opposite, considering Regina came full circle and allowed Emma to be in Henry’s life, and gave them happy memories to get them by in their new lives. And I can’t see Emma (or Neal) trying to exclude Regina from Henry’s life, because they know that she and Henry love each other. If Regina’s kept away from Henry at all, I think it’d only be because some technicality of the Curse actually prevents her from being near him, because she was supposed to have given him up as her ultimate sacrifice. Maybe that’s why Henry isn’t around for that scene in the street, because he has to be kept away from Regina at all times or “bad things will happen”.

If WW is by now known in SB, and known to be focused on Regina, and if they got wind of her starting some bad stuff in town, then the safest place for Henry may well be out of town. We don’t know if the campsite is within the borders of SB or outside. Maybe it’s a case of certain people still being able to cross the town border while others can’t. Obviously Hook can, if he went to NYC, and obviously Henry can, but maybe WW can’t. So maybe Hook’s the only option to babysit Henry and take him camping outside the borders of SB, the only place he’ll be truly safe from WW.

I think Blackbeard will only be in flashbacks, and considering Blackbeard was an actual real person, I don’t think the character’s name will actually be Blackbeard. I think that name is probably just a placeholder name for Davy Jones, who will be Hook’s father in flashbacks. Think it might have been slurpeez who said somewhere that his story could be similar to Will Turner in PotC, who didn’t have his father around as a child, and it wasn’t until he grew up and became a pirate himself that he discovered his father was also a pirate. In those movies, Will’s father ended up a part of Davy Jones’ crew, but I’m thinking Hook’s father will actually be Davy Jones, (which I think will foreshadow Hook’s death, because Davy Jones is associated with dead sailors).

I do agree that Hook will die when he sacrifices himself to protect Neal and/or Henry, (maybe if my theory of them being outside town because WW can’t leave town proves true, then perhaps she’ll defeat Regina in the street fight, and then be able to leave town after all, and she’ll go find Henry and Hook will have a fight on his hands). I think that this time he’s spending with Henry, teaching him how to read the stars, and how to tie nautical knots, will inevitably remind him of how he taught Bae the same things when he was not much older than Henry. That will cause him to honestly reflect on what he did to Neal when he was a kid, and he’ll resolve to do better and not make the same mistakes with Henry. Then a situation will present itself where he has the chance to prove to himself, Neal, and everyone, that he really can change and do the selfless, noble thing. In S3A we’ve had both Emma and Charming say to him, “Well you’re just a pirate,” and you can tell by his reactions to those comments that it’s a stigma he wishes he could shake. No one thinks he can change, Bae straight up told him to his face all those years ago, “I know you’ll never change,” but eventually, he truly will change, and prove himself, and it’ll mean giving his life, but he’ll save his soul, and that would be worth the sacrifice to him.

I pretty much agree with everything @Phee had to say in her mega post.

    1) I think Emma and Regina are pretty much past the “I hate you” phase. Emma has let Henry go off with Regina many times.

    2) I think Blackbeard will appear in the past and past only. I think he is the first pirate Killian Jones meets after his brothers death. Blackbeard teaches him how to be a pirate. It’s a father figure-son relationship. In the past we’ll how Killian lost most of his good form. Then in the present, Hook sacrifices himself for Baelfire, remembering how much he wanted Bae to be his son. And yeah, his last words will be “I told you I could changed” followed by “Milah” because after 300 years, he’s still/always going to love her
