#MoreBOOMLessGloomAlso, would the writers really put the death of a major character in an episode that isn’t about them? As far as we know, “It Isn’t Easy Being Green” is about the WWW, not Neal. So again, it doesn’t really make much sense to me to just have that be MRJ’s final episode without Rumple even being there for the funeral of his son, Neal. It wouldn’t only be anti-climatic, but it would put Neal’s ‘death’ on a lesser scale than even Cora’s final ending; at least she got a proper send-off in a Cora-centric episode. To give Neal anything less would be a major slap in the face. If they’re in fact going to say goodbye to Neal (again), they’d better do it justice! And would they really then rub our noses in it by following that up with a Hook-centric episode? *sigh*

Maybe the reason we haven’t seen Neal with the rest of the group in most of the pics from filming is that something happened to separate him from everyone.
I’m not convinced that the death has happened yet.
I got into a discussion on Tumblr with someone who thinks that it makes sense for Neal to die…that what happened at the end of S2 was foreshadowing Rumple losing his son as the price for his magic. She thought that the idea that his death was redundant was a weak argument. But I say, why “kill” him off, spend 5 episodes with everyone believing he’s dead, bring him back, only to have him die for real shortly afterward? What would be the point of that? We’ve already seen everyone’s reactions to his “death.” And I think Rumple sacrificing himself to save everyone from Pan was a pretty big payment.
