Her t-shirt is like an exact reflection of his cardigan.
I’ve seen quite a few posts today on Tumblr about how all the men in Emma’s life (Charming, Hook, and Henry) are wearing red. And while yes, those three are wearing red…Emma’s not. Emma is tied to Neal with regular street clothing and color scheme. Also, Henry is wearing more blue and gray than red, thus also tying him to SwanFire.
When you put Emma and Neal side by side you can tell that their clothing is supposed to be a mirror of each others. Sorta like another TL couple…*runs off to get pic*
Snow and Charming’s outfits are mirror images of each other: one feminine and one masculine.
Emma and Neal are doing the same thing.

Anyway, it made me think how Emma being cursed has sort of reset her while yet simultaneously helped Emma find core parts of herself that tie her to Neal: the plaid is a direct link to 17-year-old Emma who wore a lot of plaid. So we have cursed Emma living in NYC, listening to “Charley’s Girl” and wearing plaid, not to mention being a mom to Henry, which are all things that link her back to Neal. Plus, we know we’re getting another “a-ha” moment when Emma rediscovers the dreamcatcher she gave Neal all those years ago. Looks like even when Emma’s memories are altered, some things stay the same. I’d say those are all subtle indicators that Emma’s journey in the second part of S3 will be finding Neal again. We may not know exactly where he is, but something tells me that Emma never gives up until she finds what she’s looking for: home.

Excellent analysis Slurpeez. the plaid always seemed so off when we saw in 3×12 BTS shots and now we know why. But when we go back, Emma was wearing plaid when she met Neal. And now she’s wearing plaid again! Even if he’s not there…he’s there. It’s like carrying Bae’s sword

Awwww Beautiful SwanfireFamily edits. I love the swanfire family love. I love how Emma, Neal, and Henry are tied together in the promo with real world clothing, why the others get their FTL clothing.
If I had to visually pair Hook with anyone in the promo photos it would be Evil Queen Regina.
