That would be an amazing parallel! This is a quotation from a recent spoiler for 3×12 which might lend credence to this theory, “Emma Swan always gets her man.” Now, the context is almost certainly not romantic (she may be talking about being a bail bondsperson for all we know), but the principle behind it is very much in keeping with Emma being on a mission to find her home and the man she wants to spend the rest of forever with going forward. (Reminds me when Neal told Emma in 2×19, “If there’s one thing I know about you, you don’t stop until you find what you looking for” right when she’s looking at him).

May I make a request……can someone create Neal & Emma  exchanging  wedding vows with Hook officiating, on board the Jolly Roger! I know this is all in fun…….:o)

As I get ready to go to work, I am reflecting on the difference between:

adult grown-up love = Swanfire….Snowing….Rumbelle….they represent a depth of love that is unwavering, steadfast, reliable and sacrifice (Neal let go of Emma’s hand in the portal so that their child, at least has one of them)

selfish love = ? ……… fickle, sneaky, unreliable, faithless,  all talk but no sacrifice

Many years ago, I used to looked at love from a child like viewpoint, there were no hardships in that romantic bubble, only la la images and romantic poses.

Swanfire is more deep, more intense in their interactions. The ground shakes when these two share space together, when they look into each other’s eyes :o)

Remember, all great love stories have lovers that are separated by circumstances beyond their control. That is what makes their journey all the more exciting and more rewarding when re-united!

And they lived happily ever after!
