and this has always been my biggest fear since the death spoiler: first they’ll completely destroy his character. but the way they phrased the question at the end is interesting. They could have said, “will he remain true?” as sort of saying, no he wont remain true. But in this case they said, “will he follow the same path” so the answer is no he won’t. Then, Zelana offers the same thing to Hook: help her cast a curse and in exchange he gets to Emma in NYC. Hook, who’s never been shy of making deals for self-interests, takes the offer. We still don’t know the “how” or “when” Hook ended up in NYC. What if that is how? O__O

Slurp, I had a similar theory at the top of this page, and honestly, the whole Hook choosing the dark offer from Zelena was part of it, but I chose not to post it.. for those reasons haha! But yes, it makes sense too, considering some of the other quotes and spoilers we’ve gotten about someone who has tried to redeem themselves going “back” or whatever .

we’ve seen hook side with cora before to save himself from being cursed and seek revenge i can see him siding with www to get to emma no yeah maybe hook will think well theyll be cursed an forget but when i get emma back to SB shell break their curse an ill b a hero…
i def can see neal being tormented but ultimately like i wont condemn all those people to forget and live in torment ps grrr forum

I can see both Neal AND Hook doing whatever they have to in order to get back to Emma/Emma and Henry. But do I think Neal will go super evil? Nope. Do I think he’s going to come close? Yes
it’s still #BOOM day but I will admit this spoiler makes me nervous. It has been my biggest fear since the start–they’ll destroy Neal’s character and then kill him as a villain and not the good man he is.

Interesting! I’m really hoping that Eion Bailey will reappear in 3×20. With a title like “Kansas” it’s the perfect opportunity for him to show up again, considering August’s motorbike registered in Kansas of all places! I’d love to have more of August’s and Neal’s backstories to be flushed out. 🙂
