Emma + Baelfire = Swanfire

No matter how Emma gets it back, the important part is that she’s wearing it again. She’s keeping Neal close–just like she’s always done. Even going into the heart of darkness in NL, she kept his sword strapped to her back. If Emma has ZERO feelings for Neal, she really did only keep the necklace to remind herself never to trust anyone ever again, then why would she be wearing it now?! If Neal meant nothing to her–just a former flame and Henry’s father–if she REALLY WANTED TO MOVE ON, why take that symbolic object and put it back on? If the object had lost it’s symbolic significance to her (she no longer cared for Neal, she could never forgive him, she rejected the idea of a second chance) she wouldn’t wear it again. In other words: Emma Swan has never stopped loving Neal. She will never stop loving Neal. And she will show that to the world by wearing her swan pendant

I’m speculating……..If Emma is wearing the swan necklace, could be either one of these scenarios……. Neal could have given it to Hook to give it to Emma (a long shot) or Emma does find the necklace in his apartment after she regains her memories.

Clarifying speculation about possibility that Neal asks Hook to give Emma her swan necklace……..I think Neal is going to save his Papa and in A & E fairy tale logic….makes a request of Hook….to give Emma her swan necklace. I also think that the EF group elects (?) Hook to go back to NY and convince Emma to save her family…….again!

2) I just don’t know why Snowing would have a change of heart over Emma. They apparently tell Neal he can’t go after because they want her to have a happy ending without the crazy but then elect Hook? Charming likes him, sure, but Neal is Henry’s father and that’s something both Snow and Charming understand. So why Hook? Unless something else happens that we haven’t been spoiled on

Not going to lie. I really don’t want Hook to be the middleman who passes along the swan pendant necklace between Neal and Emma. The swan pendant is like a sacred SF artifact and a symbol of Emma herself. I read a spoiler that Neal and Hook don’t have any direct interactions anyway in 3×12, so I doubt Neal passes along the necklace. I’m hoping Emma either finds the swan necklace in Neal’s apartment or Neal has it in his pocket and gives it back to her in person.

That’s why I wonder whether Snowing tell Hook the same piece of advice to Hook as they do to Neal. Neal, caring about Emma and Henry’s current blissful ignorance about crazy magic, considers for a moment what Snow and Charming say. Hook, however, doesn’t pause at all and trots off to do what he will. The how and when Hook arrives in NYC while everyone else is trapped in SB is what has me questioning things about true alliances and things like that.

I agree with @Slurpeez108 about the necklace. I’d rather it not be Hook acting as middle man, though there is an argument you could make about how because Hook is giving Emma back the symbolic symbol of Neal’s love, he’s letting her go because he can see how they are meant to be.

Here is my 2 cents worth on this

I can’t see Snow & Charming not telling Hook the same thing they tell Neal about what they want for Emma & Henry. I could see Neal pausing for a minute but still maybe determined to find a a way back to them but as I said before I believe after he talks with Belle he goes off on his own determined to not only find a way back to Emma & Henry but also Rumple I suspect he will look for something in the Dark Castle first to help him do both, I suspect Neal uses blood magic like Rumple did to find out Henry & Emma’s location in NYC and he tells Snow & David where they are and he wants to go get them to bring them home or else to stay with them it’s possible Hook maybe overhears the conversation but decides he wants to go after Emma himself so I’m wondering if Hook tells Snow & Charming about how Emma was sent to jail thinking that it would deter them from allowing Neal to go after Emma but it backfires because they probably tell Hook the samething they tell Neal. Hook being Hook probably decides he wants to go after Emma anyway.

Remember that bit from TVLine about Neal’s path the other day I think he somehow gets captured by Zelena she offers him a way to go get his family but at a price he turns her down she imprisons him. So she goes to Hook with the same offer. I think Hook has probably dealt with her in the past most likely by his dealings with Pan. I could see Hook reverting because he wants Emma he takes Zelena’s offer. I think it will be an offer & choice that he soon comes to regret and that everything he’s done has put not only Emma in danger but from Zelena but also Henry, her entire family including Neal and eveyone in who was in SB and now back in the EF and those that remained there even after the first curse struck. We know that Hook has had scenes with Zelena before due to the pics, plus the info we have that Hook, Zelena & Rumple share a scene together. I think Hook will come to regret whatever deal he’s made with Zelena and he may discover that if he tries to to break his deal with her or stop her it will cost him his life.

It’s just a crack theory but one I think is plausible

I’ve been wondering if Zelena is keeping Nealfire captive as well. There is a shot in the most recent promo of Charming, Regina, Emma and Hook opening a sub basement and looking very startled. I keep thinking it might be Neal
