SO!!! One day! Let’s have a great day guys. What are you most looking forward to in 312?

Neal and Belle scenes, Emma in Neal’s apartment, Henry’s camera. The set up for the journey of Emma & Neal once again in season 3 as they try to find their way to their family and home.

    So about that GIF set.

Henry has always been one of the center points of the show. He’s the lynchpin between the waring generations of Snowing and Regina. He is the only person who could unite both sides of the family. His happy ending, for me, has *always* been the ultimate end game. This is Emma’s fractured fairy tale but it’s also the story of how Henry will live out a real life fairy tale. And part of that fairy tale for him is having his parents around–all three. He needs Regina’s passion and spirit, he needs Emma’s strength of character, and he needs Neal’s heart. To remove one from the picture is to take away Henry’s happy ending. reason # 43467 why killing Neal can’t be plot driven lol

^I can’t stand that Henry won’t remember his dad and adoptive mom. Emma wants to prevent him from getting his memories back of either Neal or Regina to “protect” him. Does that make Emma come off as a bit selfish when seeking sole custody of Henry? Maybe she is doing it with the best intention of wanting to keep Henry safe, but it doesn’t come across well. It’s almost like Emma has become like Regina was in S1 and S2. That is sooooo frustrating, but I think the writers are doing it for a very distinct reason. As soon as Henry remembers his dad and other mom, he’s going to want them to be a part of his life. It also fits into a theory put forward by Cinders that S3b is about role reversal and being in the other person’s shoes. Emma will feel what it was like for Regina when she first showed up in the pilot on Regina’s doorstep. Henry not believing in magic will be a bit like Emma was in S1. Neal will be facing a similar temptation as his dad was in S1. And Hook will be trying to fill the shoes of Neal/Charming too.

Someone pointed out that Henry might remember sooner than 322 because in 316, Hook is wearing his Hook again and not his fake gloved hand meaning that Henry doesn’t need to be kept in the dark anymore. But I think Henry is going to become resentful of being taken away from his average life and that’s why he is so angry in 317-319, with 319 being the “I know what’s best for you” angry mom speech from Emma. So, my prediction is that he gets his memories back in 315. Which, if we’re correct might be  the big BelleFire story!

Whenever I fall under the spell of doubts regarding SWANFIRE (very few times), I look forward to how the swanfire community lift each other up with reassuring words and romantic swanfire artwork.

I hope I ‘get’ A & E’s concept of OUAT, their dream and vision of the ‘what ifs’ fairy tale characters that have depth and contradictions to their one dimensional identities.

And, to add spice to their exquisite fantasy, they threw into the mix, a modern day heroine, living in our world, yet was born in FTL…the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming.

A & E also integrated into this dark fantasy, a love story like no other……SWANFIRE!

Nealfire’s hero heart has remained hidden from Emma, but it is not a tragedy. On the contrary, imagine Emma’s realization of Nealfire’s profound sacrifice ….to forsake his own happiness with Emma so that Emma can find her way back home. I hope to see Emma’s heart wavering between sadness and joy when the truth is revealed.

Nealfire is Emma’s match. Both struggling to find closure from abandonment and betrayal. Both feeling a pull to each other that is so strong that nothing…no portal…no cage….no spell can keep them apart. That pull is love, baby!

How could Nealfire NOT BE VIABLE to OUAT……..he is connected to each one of the characters!

    As I see it:

Nealfire represents the bridge created between the FTL world and the LWM world.

Emma embodies the despair, hope and happy endings inherent in both worlds.

Henry is the love child that merges these two worlds together

I think the single most important thing going into S3b is the theme of home. “Going Home” took Emma to NYC because of a “fire.” Well, if that isn’t direct evidence as to what home means to Emma then I don’t know what is. Neal is going to have to struggle to get back to her, just as she will to him. It’s going to be a fight to get a second chance, but the bigger the struggle, the bigger the payoff. Hook, by contrast, has had it too easy, and by the sounds of it, uses his pirating tactics to get back to Emma. Yet, the race isn’t always to the swift, so they say. I think Neal’s and Emma’s is a slow-burn, angsty, emotional, powerful tale of overcoming trial and pain to get another go at love. THAT is what TRUE LOVE is all about in these heroic tales. I still have full confidence that is the direction the writers are still taking the story, since there’s no place like home, and home is SwanFire. 🙂
