I know is a bit of a cliché if neal arrives on the kiss moment, but that is the only way that i can see emma and neal reunion don`t be a emocional one, i think we will find out tonight in the promo, since they spoiled the kiss pic, i totally se them showing on the promo, in a sneak peak,.

i tottaly see neal punch hook and tell everyone aboy their story, and that is why Jen says that she wants to kiss and punch him. at the same time, she says that we will know more about emma past through talks with neal, that somehow seems a very close relationship in the presente, we all see how on the 2nd episode she didn`t want to admit how she was feeling.

i also see neal assuming the leadership of the group in neverland, showing emma a person she never saw, the writers said that NL will make them be who they are, and Neal is Baelfire( and we know that Bae was a smart , brave and stuborn when he set a goal to accomplish) so he will also have to deal with his own ghosts.

So while emma is emma, she will see for the first time Baelfire, and will understand why he gave her up, because he wanted her to be happy. That is the only way they are showing in the episode of tonight( 3×04)  cave where he used to be, he was a lost boy like her, but the only diference, was that her parents gave her up in oder for her to have a happy ending, and his parents gave him up because their were selfish.

i have to admit i was really angry with the writers and starting to hate emma, but now, maybe is good that hook and emma kiss, this means that the next time she kiss neal will be because she made a decision of staying with him.

As for Rumple, he totally ships SF, and he hates Hook. Even moreso than Neal reacting with, “Oh no, you’re not taking away another woman I love,” I’d expect that from Rumple. He would take Hook out in a flash so his son didn’t have to suffer losing the woman he loves to Hook, just like he did back in the day with Milah. I’m guessing Rumple will still be off on his own little NL journey though, so he probably won’t find out about it any time soon.

Part of me wonders if Rumple will be the one to spill the beans about Hook/Milah. I love my imp but sometimes he can do rash things.

I think Emma will figure out Milah was Bae’s mother in 304 if she hasn’t already.

    So far Emma knows:
Rumple killed a woman named Milah who Hook loved.
Hook and Bae spent some time together.

With Hook’s comment in 304 that Bae gets his drawing ability from “him mother”, Emma should be able to connect the dots that Milah=Bae’s mother and also figure out that if Milah=Bae’s mother + Rumple=Bae’s father then Milah=Rumple’s ex wife.

I’m starting to realize that it is no accident that JMo tweeted that “Hook reminds Emma of Neal”. At that time, I was baffled, but now I think I got it. Hook is, at this point, literally the only reminder Emma has that Neal ever existed. Rumple has left the group. Henry’s been kidnapped. Her bug stayed in Storybrooke. The swan pendant is gone. All the physical evidence that Neal Cassidy was part of her life seems to be dissolving before her own eyes.

    O_____O

I have not been given any reason to believe Emma is kissing Hook because she is in love with him. She is grateful, and yeah, she is in love – but not with Hook. Hook is the only link that Emma has to Neal at this point, and the fact she is clinging to him so tightly only shows me that she is not ready to let go. It’s actually the opposite of closure: through Hook, she is keeping Neal alive.

It is no accident that they are making Hook bring Bae into the conversation so often. How much Hook is she really seeing when they are together? How many of her smiles are actually to Hook, or a mere a nod to the memory of the man she loved?

    O________________O

Neal tried to move on from Emma when he thought he had lost her forever.

Emma is trying to move on from Neal now that she thinks he is gone forever.

Neal loves Emma. Emma loves Neal.

    He made a mistake.

Now, she is making one as well.

Tamara was not Neal’s first option.

    Hook is not Emma’s.

    *explosion of fireworks*

t means you’re human. And there will be a moment when both Neal and Emma will realize that they both made mistakes, even though they still loved each other. They both are hurting. They are not perfect. They are not fairytale characters like the others.

Still, that doesn’t make their love story any less real, or true.

Now if that is not a huge sign of hope for Swanfire, I don’t know what is.

    I shall marry this post

Also, in other Tumblr news. I found this today paralleling my two favorite ships

This may be a big “well, duh,” but for some reason it just occurred to me how much Rumpel and Belle’s relationship parallels Neal and Emma’s relationship. Both relationships are paced differently, but the core is the same:For both Belle and Emma, this was their first real experience with falling in love and they both fell hard….in both cases to men vastly older than themselves (although Emma couldn’t know this in Neal’s case). The first phase of both relationships were short and intense and ended disastrously.  In both cases, the crisis was pushed on them by external forces – Belle convinced by Regina to try True Love’s Kiss, Neal convinced by August to dump Emma for her own good – but were also rooted in a sense from Rumpel and Neal that they deserve to be loved or to be happy. Both women ended up in prison as a result of their rejection.

In different ways, both men committed the sin of inaction. Even knowing that he was hearing the story from a Lying Liar Who Lies, Rumpel didn’t fact-check Regina’s claim that Belle had been abused by her father and had committed suicide. Even when he learned that the Curse was broken, Neal didn’t rush to Maine. Both were blind-sided by the women’s return, Rumpel by Belle walking into his store, Neal literally tackled by Emma on a city street.

In both relationships, the old feelings were quick to reassert themselves, but not in the head-over-heels sense of it. Emma and Neal were stuck in mutual denial right up until the “I love yous” over the portal. Rumpel and Belle went back and forth several times over the season, with him pulling away (Broken), then her pulling away (The Crocodile), then coming back together (The Outsider), then being pulled apart by Hook (The Outsider, again), then by Regina (Lacey), then reuniting and separating in one last time (Straight On Till Morning).

Both men are extremely protective: Neal was ready to confront Gold when he was worried Emma might be harmed for breaking a deal, and he was willing to return to Neverland (which can hardly be his happy place) to help her and Henry. For Rumpel, who has been increasingly aware that he needs Belle to function in any kind of human fashion, it’s been more complicated, and he’s perpetually caught between the recognition that she’s be much better off without him and the unwillingness to make that happen.

What I like is that them being protective doesn’t negate the fact that both women are the stronger parties in each relationship. Neither Emma nor Belle has been broken by their hard experiences. They remain strong-willed, and they’re each convinced that what they know about things are the way things are – Emma “knows” when people are lying, Belle can see what’s in a person’s heart. They define themselves by those perceived strengths. In both cases, it’s pretty clear that the relationships rest almost entirely on whether each woman says “yes” or “no” to it. And that’s not to class them as harpies or nags, it’s that they’re making (or likely will make, in Emma’s case) a clear choice about who they want to be with, and the men they’ve fallen for really, really need that level of strength.

I know there are pro- and anti- factions for both Rumbelle and SwanTheif, but beyond whether or not these relationships should exist, I think they show some interesting things about the characters and how they interact. I don’t know if it’s in the cards, but now I really want to see Emma and Belle form a friendship. They have the potential to make a good team…or at least can have someone to commiserate with over drinks at The Rabbit Hole on Ladies’ Night. 🙂

I think it shows that Emma and Belle are both really strong characters who are capable of forgiveness for our father/son duo.

That was an EXCELLENT analysis of the CS from a SF perspective. Thanks for sharing!

In a recent interview JMo was asked if a an Emma flashback was coming up and she answered

““I think so. I hope so. I mean we’re already at episode 10 and there’s not been another flashback of Emma. So, ya know, I don’t know when or how. I know pieces of information come out in conversations with Neal because he has spent time with her. But he’s really the only person that any kind of information about her can come out because he’s the only person that’s spent time with her in the past. So we’ll see. I hope so.”

This means that Emma and Neal have a talk coming up and JMo says that Neal’s the only person that can get information out of her

That’s how you ship, put a cute spin on it and keep on dancing!I really want to see if Hook continues his own nasty habits of dishonesty.  As Charming said there is honesty of the heart and lying by omission.  Has Hook told Emma the whole story? It is one thing to figure it out and another to be trusted with a story that does not entirely put you in a good light.   I think Bae might have reacted differently to Hook knowing Milah had Hook told him in the first place, so it may be a bit of history repeating,   Now it does seem like Hook says some things about teenage Bae in NL, so perhaps he reveals it all, but then Hook is still constantly verbally reminding Emma about Neal, so it is not just that they both happen to be her type.  I guess we keep watching it unfold and see what happens.

I posted this MRJ interview in a separate thread, but I’ll gush my SF feelings here:

Assuming the theoretical notion that Neal does make it to Neverland, will he take kindly to the notion that Captain Hook, who Baelfire knew when he was a young boy, is now putting the moves on Emma? “Look. I don’t think Neal is under any kind of illusions that there isn’t work to be done between he and Emma,” he says, “and that he doesn’t have a lot of work to do to get to where he wants to be, in terms of their relationship. He’s not expecting her to just be waiting around, pining,” he tells us. With that said, though, he does see Neal’s recent acknowledgement of his feelings — and his desire for family — to be a driving force.

“I think that’s his journey,” Michael says. “Since he was a little boy at age 13 and his father let him go down the portal, he’s been kind of a loner, and had to make himself a life in these strange worlds, but he never fit in to any place. So that’s always been his thing; to try to cobble together a sense of family, a sense of belonging, a sense of ‘this is where I’m supposed to be in the world.’ Ever since then. And as such, following one’s heart in that way, there’s gonna be missteps along the way, but I think at this moment, he’s never had the kind of clarity that he has right now. Being a father is the most important thing to him, and just having been able to admit these feelings to the woman that I love, and have them reciprocated… it gives a laser sense of clarity. For the first time, he really knows exactly where he needs to go and what he needs to do to get there. He hasn’t had that before. He’s always been drifting, trying to make a life.”

I love that MRJ refers to himself in the first person when speaking about Neal and Neal’s motivations! MRJ obviously sympathizes with Neal and his tough lot in life and is rooting for him to reunite with his family, including Emma! He has come to far to fail again now at the last hurdle. Go Neal go!
