Yes. And the look of something being familiar was on her face even before she saw the dreamcatcher.

She was trying to capture him for Rumple for the deal though 😉 but the moment that struck me is when she goes out of the bar and leaves him. Maybe there were no other exits but usually there are so to me it seemed like she trusted him not to bolt. He sat there and waited.
He chose to wait while she called MM. He did not try to run. Even though he cut a deal to have her lie about seeing him, he chose to come back to protect her. In NL, he fought by her side even knowing she might not have room to love him as she once did, and he asked her in SB, ready to face the pain of her rejecting him. Whatever fear or doubt he had, he conquered but it is not just about him. Emma still thinks the Savior does not get nice things. She might think Neal is safer without her but then there is Henry to think about too. She won’t give him up so easily but what kind of life can she have is the big question, where is her home? I think it will be with the people she loves in SB but I think Neal will feel the same. He would live with magic for her and Henry.

Someone asked when did I fall in love with Swanfire or when I start shipping swanfire.
I must tell you it was slow yet steady build. But I am going to try and break it down and not in rank order.
- Desperate Souls: I always had my suspicious Baelfire was Henry’s father. And if he was Henry’s father what happen to make him a bad mad.
- Tallahassee: Emma’s smile, their young love quirkness the randomness of their meeting up with each other. I could see the love and joy they had for each other. I couldn’t deny the mutual love they have for each other. But yet I never ship it.
- Manhattan: Despite the anger, despite the pain, the hurt, I could see the love between all. There was hurt, there was pain but there was also love. (This is one of my faves because they acting was superb and the emotional charge was like fire. Kudos to Robert, JMO, MRJ, and Jared) But yet I still did not ship them
- Second Star to the Right : the beach talk, I love you, I love you too. That scene just touch me so much, because finally they declared the feeling-emotion that has lasted for ten years, LOVE. I didn’t ship them but I had high respect and regards for their love!
- comic-con: JMO and MRJ were just amazing together and so adorbs. I love their interaction because they made work look fun. And then I thought thats probably how Neal, Emma, and Henry would be, sassy and fun, goofballs with a mischievous streak. And they would challenge each other, respect each other, and love each other. I was starting to really lean towards the shipping side.
- Season 3A episodes 1-4 I love the fact that Neal was fighting his way back to Emma and Henry. I love that Emma was connecting with Neal through his past. I loved how Henry was thinking about his mother and his father. We had Emma, Neal, and Henry all taking the leap of faith. We had our swanfire trio separated and divided longing for each other. It was a beauitful story being formed, and I just rooted for those three to get their second chance. But I would say not just second chance but, a chance to be a family, a home.
- The story: I love the story of Swanfire, of Emma, Neal, and Henry. Its so poetic, the savior, the reason, and the believer. The son of the dark one and the daughter of the true love! Its a great story that tugs at my heartstrings unlike any couple, pairing, or ship on OUAT. I ship MadSwan for fun, but I ship Swanfire for love. I ship their love which is so poignant and heartfelt.
I don’t put Neal’s feelings above Emma and don’t put Emma’s feelings over Neal, and I don’t put Henry’s feelings above his parents. I take all their feelings and emotions in account. And what I see is three people who love each very much. And I root for their love and their happy ending.
If Emma didn’t love Neal and Neal didn’t love Emma, I can accept that, but the fact remains is she still loves him very much and he still loves her. And Henry loves them both, and they love Henry.
I’m shipping their love and their story!

He’s in a position to have a greater understanding of his father while understanding his son. There’s a lot of rich material for MRJ and RC to dig into once the family is all back in the same general location. And it’s going to take a long time to untangle this knot.
Was Neal’s presumed birthday around this time (March)?
