Somedays I think, what songs don’t give me SF feels as it seems there are so many that do. There are certain artists that have an angsty vibe in their songs, and it fits with SF so you’ll notice that in these song choices. I imagine some of these as a song playing in Neal or Emma’s head when separated, when reuniting, some about the prospect of trying again.

Maybe I should just say about every song by that band, even one of their biggest hits Apologize, though I do think it wasn’t too late, just Emma felt that way at first when she met Neal at the bar. Counting Stars also, sort of their young and crazy together period.

Well, I do give up, there’s so many. Hardly any of these though as I said are the happy, fluffy type to go with their young love, more about the bulk of this angsty story of “How do two people who really love each other but have had so much pain ever manage to reconnect?”.

Since the day he discovered he was a father, Neal has hit the ground running. He loves his boy and would do anything for him, even willingly let go of Emma’s hand so that Henry wouldn’t have to be alone. Neal agrees that Henry is the most important thing. Only a truly loving parent would put their child’s happiness before their own. There’s no question in my mind that Neal loves his boy and longs to be a father who is their for his kid.

That scene is still by FAR my favorite scene of the entire series. MRJ really showed his chops. It was beautiful, heartbreaking, joyful and everything I could ever want.
I LOVED that scene in Manhattan and it’s part of the reason that episode is still my all time fave from the entire series so far. MRJ was incredible all the way around and more than held his own with both JMo and Robert C. which is not always an easy task (especially when you’re the newbie of the show) and I loved his scenes with Jared too. I feel like he just fit into the show so well right from the get go even though it was obviously a highly emotional time for everyone and I really wish they would use him more because he’s more than proven that he can handle anything. Hopefully this weekend kicks off some awesome Neal scenes that allow MRJ to seriously chew up some scenery! 😀

OMG, if you love Javier’s voice as much as I do, then we’re going to get along even better than I thought! 😉 I adore that guy’s voice so much and his version of Time After Time is the one that has been giving me SwanFire feels for a long time now. Glad you liked my playlist! I have a few other songs that remind me of SF but they’re more religious type songs and I wasn’t sure if anyone was interested in them. I’ll post those tomorrow if anyone wants them though! 😀

We can be biffles! I’d love them, ESPECIALLY if they are religious types. I love pulling underlying morals and all that jazz out of the SF “fairytale”. and I DO love Javier. I was HS classmates with his battle partner Angela, and while I hated to see her go.. I couldn’t root for her when she was battling him, haha!
Oh wow! Small world that you know Angela and I actually remember that battle pretty well. I think I downloaded their song simply because Javier was freaking amazing on it, LOL 😉 (BTW-I think you, me, and KFC should single handedly help bring Javier back to the spotlight because his voice needs to be on my radio like, yesterday! :D)
I will post more songs tomorrow when I get to work and have my MP3 player plugged into my computer. I have a HUGE playlist that I listen to while I’m working and I think most of the other songs that remind me of SF are all in that list right now. It will make posting much easier when the songs are listed right there for me! 😉
RG-I think the exact same thing as you about “Just Give Me a Reason”….it is TOTALLY the SF theme song right now. Anyone else eager to hear the ‘true love’ theme music this weekend for when Neal & Emma are back on our screens together?! 😀
