ParticipantGood bye my lovies, I may pop my head around. I made it resolve a long time ago to wait and see. I waited I saw.

ParticipantI need a moment right now….
The first time I cried so hard my eyes are red on an OUAT episode….as if someone I loved just died…. just…UGH!!!! 🙁
I don’t think I can stomach watching the rest of the season now….
I’ll be back in a moment to talk it out, cause I really need that right now….

ParticipantNeal and Emma loved each other, deeply. Belle even identified it as TRUE LOVE. I was not misinformed when I started this blog almost a year ago. But what I think changed is the actual vision. Now Emma gets to find Tallahassee with someone else? With the pirate with a drinking problem? And we finally get a CaptainFire moment only to have it end like this? Hook’s assertion that Neal would fail proves correct, but not because Emma doesn’t deeply love him. It’s because Zelena tricked him. And Hook gets to be the perfect step-daddy to Henry that he never was to Neal? I just can’t anymore. Rumple loses his son, his happy ending. What was the point of Neal’s sacrifice then, may I ask? What was the point of ANY of Rumple’s actions to reunite with his son? *Sigh*
For me, it was never really *just* about Emma and Neal’s love. It was always about family. What bothers me most of all is the lack of resolution, the ill-usage of good-hearted characters, the message that it doesn’t really matter WHAT you do for others. Characters like Regina, Hook and Rumple have all abused people, lied, and murdered. Yet, they all get second chances. Yet the one character who has always done his best to do right by others gets abandoned, abused, handed over to demon-boys, becomes an outcast, and denied his second chance at family? Excuse me if I make my exit, A&E, because that is NOT a message of hope. It is the very opposite. Unless Neal’s death is the death which gets reversed, then I have no confidence anymore in this show, its vision, or its writing. I’ve enjoyed all of our conversations during the last while. I just won’t continue to be as invested in this show anymore. I am going to become a casual viewer, at best, but probably will take an indefinite leave of absence here after tonight.
Maybe the season finale will change everything. Maybe not. But regardless, this is a cheap tactic to make way for a handsome pirate. It’s not that I hate the alternative. I just think it’s lousy writing and a huge cop-out.

KeymasterI truly don’t udnerstand.
This isn’t about my ship either. This is about how horrible that writing was. About how a guy who was decent and kind and courageous and loving just DIED in the dumbest way ever.

ParticipantThis is crazy. How can this be it?!? How can they just let it end like this. It’s just… I just have no words…

KeymasterThere was no build up. No explanation just: Neal is going to do this thing that makes no sense and now he and Rumple are one and now he is dead. The end.
What a horrible waste. That was a terrible episode.

KeymasterEverything Mick just said.
It was a fast, convoluted, contrived, overworked episode that made no sense. And then BOOM: dead.

ParticipantI’m sorry, but this was the worse written episode i have seen. The fact the at Bae acted OOC, and the way they had him die was ridiculous. I guess Adam and Eddy couldn’t even be bothered to write this episode. ALso the fact that Henry didn’t even get to see his father is ridiculous. The whole show is supposed to be about FAMILY.
SO basically, Bae who was a good kid who saw the good ineveryone, is separated from his father, dies alone in the woods without seeing his son and Henry doesn’t even get to see him ever again, I dont even get what the whole #hope and #secondchances theme is supposed tobe.
We didn’t even really get to see any Neal/Henry bonding this whole series. I feel there were also loose ends to be tied up with RUmple.
Sorry just had to rant, I could of handled Neal dying but not this way and not without seeing Henry. Also, really–he would just do a dark ritual without thinking about it first??????Sorry, end of rant.
