I feel so run down. What does this mean for the rest of us? Those of us who have been abandoned and suffered and abused? Do we get happy endings at all? Do we get hope?

This whole thing was technically a curse, too. He was cursed because of a dark ritual. The inconsistency is just… even more frustrating. I definitely need some time. I will probably not be watching the show for a while. I may pick it back up after the finale has aired. But I’m not sure yet. It has nothing to do with a ship. I always thought no matter what I wouldn’t stop watching. But this was just handled horribly. So horribly.

I do want so bad to keep in touch with all of you. Even if we have to make our own chatroom for The Voice or the Olympics or gosh the 10 o’clock news. I just want all of us to stay together. And that… that has brought me to my first tear of the night. Now I’m crying. Neal brought us all together. This character of goodness and love and selflessness. That speaks a lot about you all and I don’t think I could handle losing Neal AND all of you and all of us chatting together. *wipes tears from face*

I’m just shaking right now. I can barely get the words out.

I’m still crying…I guess it’s over…they’ve gone ahead and done it.

I don’t think I can forgive A&E for this ever. I don’t think I can stomach watching another OUAT episode because I’m so angry at the way they handled it.

I cried when he pulled out the SF pendent. His true love talisman. He kept it with him always.

I cried when his died in Emma’s arms clutching onto Rumple’s hand. And as I’m typing this now I’m crying… 🙁

 

I can’t believe they just short changed us at so much potential his character could’ve brought

 

BUT WHAT I’M MOST ANGRY ABOUT

Is that he never got to see Henry again. And he died while his own son didn’t remember him as the good man that his was that took his out for pizza and taught his how to sword fight.

I don’t think I can ever recover from this, I don’t even think I can re-watch it either.

 

I guess MRJ did want to leave???? I don’t really blame him since he’s suffered harassment from the fandom more then any other actor. That I just can’t forgive.

 

I’m not sure what to do now….my enthusiasm is pretty much gone. I might pop into the forums and visit you guys but I don’t know…

I still want to keep this thread going since I’ve chatted with so many lovely people here. I hate to let that go. I said to myself I would go down with this ship until the very end.

I love our thread. I love our silly GIFs and pretties. I love welcoming people with hot cocoa and cinnamon and cookies. I love randomly shouting TWIZZLE. I love coming here in the morning and seeing how much it’s grown.
I love how much hope we give each other.

Neal and Emma loved each other, deeply. Belle even identified it as TRUE LOVE. I was not misinformed when I started this blog almost a year ago. But what I think changed is the actual vision. Now Emma gets to find Tallahassee with someone else? With the pirate with a drinking problem? And we finally get a CaptainFire moment only to have it end like this? Hook’s assertion that Neal would fail proves correct, but not because Emma doesn’t deeply love him. It’s because Zelena tricked him. And Hook gets to be the perfect step-daddy to Henry that he never was to Neal? I just can’t anymore. Rumple loses his son, his happy ending. What was the point of Neal’s sacrifice then, may I ask? What was the point of ANY of Rumple’s actions to reunite with his son? *Sigh* For me, it was never really *just* about Emma and Neal’s love. It was always about family. What bothers me most of all is the lack of resolution, the ill-usage of good-hearted characters, the message that it doesn’t really matter WHAT you do for others. Characters like Regina, Hook and Rumple have all abused people, lied, and murdered. Yet, they all get second chances. Yet the one character who has always done his best to do right by others gets abandoned, abused, handed over to demon-boys, becomes an outcast, and denied his second chance at family? Excuse me if I make my exit, A&E, because that is NOT a message of hope. It is the very opposite. Unless Neal’s death is the death which gets reversed, then I have no confidence anymore in this show, its vision, or its writing. I’ve enjoyed all of our conversations during the last while. I just won’t continue to be as invested in this show anymore. I am going to become a casual viewer, at best, but probably will take an indefinite leave of absence here after tonight. Maybe the season finale will change everything. Maybe not. But regardless, this is a cheap tactic to make way for a handsome pirate. It’s not that I hate the alternative. I just think it’s lousy writing and a huge cop-out.

Sadly, K&H will find out too late how important Baelfire was to the show’s fanbase.  This isn’t about a ship; it’s about a character that meant love, hope & happy endings to many of us.  He was Rumple’s happy ending and if they think they can write Rumple living happily ever after with Belle after this loss, then they’ve missed the importance of their own story.

I think I’m done with this series.  This wasn’t Graham; this wasn’t Pino; this was Baelfire for crying out loud.  Big mistake K&H, huge massive mistake.

I’m still numb. I can’t believe that this actually happened. Did that really happen?! Does a good guy who has been abused, traumatized, and victimized his whole life really not get a happy ending?! What was with the picture that MRJ tweeted not too long ago?! I AM NOT OKAY WITH THIS RIGHT NOW. 😥

And that article from Matt was so random. He always has his recaps ready to go but for whatever reason, it wasn’t tonight. I feel like I’m missing some big piece of the puzzle here and I don’t know where to find it. If the writing is going to go to heck in a basket though like it did tonight, then MRJ is much better off being far away from it. If it’s all true and things are just done with Neal, then that man better find himself an awesome gig in a movie or on a TV show that I can actually watch (no crazy murderer guy please) so he’s back in my world or on my TV ASAP. I haven’t even cried over this yet but boy can I feel it building inside me right now. It’s not going to be pretty when it finally lets itself out. 😥
