Also, can we talk about two things 1) the forced apology from Hook to Belle? Really, writers? Really?? He didn’t even sound sincere! Is that all it takes for SHOOTING a person? “Sorry. Here I’ll stay with you.” That’s it?! A smirk and a “sorry”. He SHOT her. 2) WTH was that CaptainFire scene???? Oh so NOW Hook remembers that he wanted to raise Bae? That he loved him as a son? that he would have given up everything for him? CSers, Im sorry if this offends you and I’m sure I’ll be reading some delightful responses in your thread about me (I can always tell when it’s about me) so go ahead. I simply don’t care.

The worst crime they made was not having him see Henry before he died. I didn’t think the show would go there but it did. And I just can’t believe it. A father that wanted to be in his son’s life so badly never got to. Life sucks as it is, I don’t need another show to tell me it sucks even more…

Why did they bring him back just to kill him? Seriously. I just don’t understand it. It would have been so much more impactful to end it at the end of season two. We had the heart wrenching moment. He could have fallen and MAP find him dead with a picture of Henry on him or something. That I would have been okay with. This was just numbing.
I’ve been meh about the show all week. The only thing really holding me onto fandom is you guys. I love talking in chat to you. And I still think the idea to make a few weeks after the final to ban chat about the show a thing would be fantastic. A break for at least a week or two.
It’s not even shipping. This has become more of a Nealfire thread than Swanfire. It’s the crappy way they treated his character. Just crappy. It really doesn’t give me any hope for how they’ll treat Belle, another often overlooked character, in the future.

Now time to wait for the ratings. This week was The Walking Dead finale. Next week Game of Thrones starts back up combined with this I wonder what will happen to the ratings. Yes I know the other shows are at 9pm but everyone watches at odd times now. So it’s a numbers game now. Hmmm…

I love you all so much. I don’t know what I would have done tonight if I didn’t have you guys to hold onto and talk with because this has severely affected me more than any other show I watch right now. I feel gutted like a fish. 😥
BTW-I was SO HOPEFUL they wouldn’t go there but these guys were partially responsible for the two deaths on Lost that absolutely broke me apart: Juliet and Jin/Sun. Juliet never got to return to her family after she got stuck on the island and Jin/Sun died never getting to return to their daughter. WHY do writers think these types of stories are enjoyable to watch??! DEATH IS NOT ENJOYABLE. HEARTACHE IS NOT ENJOYABLE. SOMEONE NOT GETTING TO SEE HIS SON BEFORE HE DIES IS NOT ENJOYABLE. I am just done. I will try to watch next week’s episode because I still love JMo and I am curious how they handle things but after that, I don’t know what will happen. I just feel gutted like a fish and my hope in happy endings is totally broken right now. I have a feeling I won’t be sleeping much tonight. 😥

Neal and Emma are transported to NY instantaneously where they find themselves in the kitchen of their home with Henry playing video games. He looks back at his mom and dad and asks if they are down for a game. They say sure! Doorbell rings, it’s grandma Snow and snowflake. They have cookies to drop off. They all exchange a hug and it pans out and you see that NY, SB and EF have merged into one happy realm of family. Everyone gets what they want and I GET MY HAPPY ENDING DANGIT.
I’m taking that ending and running away with it. I’ll join you in having a nice happy ending

I get that death is sometimes needed but not like this. Not like in this contrived horrible way. This was unfair to his fans. To those who loved him and rooted for him.

Two things I did love was when Neal took out the swan pendent and held onto it. That was my first phase of bursting into tears.
The second was Neal and Emma chatting so casually with each other. Joking, laughing, and Emma giving an actual legit smile at him. Only Neal brought that out in her. And I’m always gonna hold onto them being true loves.
Everything else was thrown in your face as “Life sucks” get over it.
OUAT crime against the fandom:

Oh, god, RG, it sounds even worse seeing it written out. How did they ever think this was a good idea in the writer’s room? Seriously.
I know I’m in the minority but I don’t like this divided season. Season four will definitely be the last . I can’t see the way they’re going with the storyline that ratings will ever bounce back to season one levels.
