I really do hate April Fools Day especially in light of us losing Neal

From what I understand of the character he’s a cross between having some similarity to SF’s relationship with his love interest on that show with a bit of Hook’s personality. Which is just cute coming from these writers. The best of both worlds. Joy.Throw a three year complex storyline away because they couldn’t hack it as writers. Yet they bring in another character because he was yet again, the eye candy of that respected show.

Emma simply being happy as a single mom to Henry would be enough for me. She does’t have to have a romantic love for her life to be happy again.

What I wished for Emma was for her to end up with Neal, her first and true love. It was just icing on the cake that he was Henry’s biological father. However, if not Neal, then is it wrong for me to wish not Hook? Not after he constantly mistreated Neal. That is like the victory going not to the good or deserving, but to the selfish bully. I don’t hate Hook. I actually enjoy his snarky, pirating self. I just think his idea of home is his ship, and his idea of a happy life is about his swashbuckling adventures. He’d be better paired with Tink.

At least Will would be a lovable character to me. I already love him so much from watching WL. If Ana were to be resurrected only to die again, that would be horrible. Yet, at least I could get behind the idea of Will and Emma. That would actually make a lot of sense to me. More than Hook and Emma ever could.

Don’t know if this was posted earlier, but it is beautiful, heartbreaking and captures the wonderful spirit of Baelfire. Worth the read even though your heart will be shattered again. Get your tissues out… still not ok about his death.

Can we start making up better stories here in our haven?

How about instead of Rumple being a slave to Zelena as a result of his son’s actions, Neal and Rumple remained conjoined, thereby preventing Zelena from wielding the Dark One like a weapon of mass destruction. How about instead of Zelena making out with the dark one like her repulsive mother did, Emma and Belle team up to drown that witch in a pit of scalding hot water? I’d be down with that.

I’m not in favor of either of those options. Their shared grief would be their common denominator. Essentially another Lost girlboy retread. It’s senseless. They would be firing one man for a mini Neal/Hook fill holder. It would be insulting to us as the audience and cheapen Neal’s exit more if that’s possible. It’s not needed when the story was right there. I’m on Team EmmaHenry. If they do end up bringing him on I feel he and hook will end up cancelling each other out and one is going to be neutered in the personality department in order to differentiate the two.

We’re actually pretty much agreed. I was perfectly content watching Emma discover her true maternal love for Henry in s1. I never paired Emma with anyone then, not Graham, not August, not Jefferson. Now I’m thinking Henry really might be the only love Emma has room for in her otherwise broken heart. It would be my first choice (well second choice after Neal died), for Emma simply to enjoy being a mom to Henry. That really would be enough.
