Participantnot only that, I realized that probably can’t even watch any reruns on netflix anymore!! it’s disturbing even to do that anymore haha I used to watch and rewatch season 2 on Netflix so much, but now I can’t, I just can’t. I lost all of my excitement for this story.
Same I feel so haunted by Neal’s death. I can’t bear to watch Season 1 or 2 with any young Bae/Neal in it. Maybe eventually if I forget “Quiet Minds” ever happened. But knowing his eventual sad fate it just too hard. I’ll probably be screaming “Don’t go to Storybrooke!” at him. It’s been nothing but crap ever since he got there. Someone asked if I stop watching if Neal is killed off. Well I think I’m going to keep to my word and not watch it live. Does that sound petty of me? I can’t support anything OUAT shows me anymore. I’m pretty much disillusioned by the latest episode.
I know what you mean. I don’t want to say that I’ll never watch the show but the shine is gone now. I don’t look forward to my Once time on Sundays anymore. I just don’t care. And I do love other characters on the show I just don’t seem to care about any of it right now. I haven’t even looked at spoilers or anything which is crazy for me because I love me some spoilers. At this point, I have no desire to make the show a priority anymore. And it’s not because Neal isn’t there, its just that I no longer trust that the stories are going to go where they are suppose to anymore.

Participant@TheGoldenKey just brought up a good point in another thread about how all of 315 was plot based (nonsense <–my word, not hers) The Dark One’s curse didn’t come from the EF (says Blue in The Return) Why is there a giant vault of goo in the EF then? BECAUSE PLOT Plot devicey, contrived, overwrought, stupid plot #ThisHasBeenAnAngerRant[/quote] NO rhyme or reason except that A&E admittedly wanted to change course (see the interview I posted on page 1005). Not only did A&E want to go in a vastly different direction, but they wanted to do so as quickly as possible. It didn't matter that they were changing their own mythology fundamentally, being inconsistent with plot, or screwing over a beloved character. All that matters is out with the old and on with the new.

So they want a reboot because why? Because the story made sense and had continuity? Because it was so poetic and they don’t like poetry??? I just don’t get it. I’m not a writer or a showrunner, I’m just a viewer so maybe I just don’t understand what was so wrong and bad about the story they were telling. Hmmm.

ParticipantLike others, I was considering the finale title and what “home” might mean to Emma if she, say, got ahold of a powerful magical artifact (such as a pair of shoes …) that would allow her to change everything to go “home.” And I could see the last shots of the episode with Emma and Henry eating breakfast in the apartment … and then Neal emerges from another room and joins them. Stunner! Emma kisses him; Henry smiles. And then there’s a knock at the door … they look up … fade to black.
I just can’t this out of my head. I might write fanfic for the first time in, oh, 18 years or so just to get it out there.
You know what else they could do with this scenario? They could address the whole “horrible things” happening if Neal stays with Emma thing. Because if Emma’s heart notion of “home” is a normal life with Neal and Henry, and she gets that … that knock on the door of which I wrote could be a harbinger of those things.
A real reset. A …. shall I say it? … real LOST twist.
I may have to write this. At least a vignette.

Seriously. If it isn’t broken don’t try to fix it. A reset button which does away with plot and character continuity screams total train-wreck.

ParticipantThis is from the following interview: http://www.assignmentx.com/2014/exclusive-interview-once-upon-a-time-creators-edward-kitsis-and-adam-horowitz-on-season-3/
HOROWITZ: Yeah, I know, but for me, Neverland had some of my favorite episodes ever. I really loved it. I loved being there, I loved Peter Pan, he was so much fun to write for, and we had the HEART OF DARKNESS vibe that we really dug, and we liked that it was really character-oriented. The second half of the season is going to be different. Whereas Neverland was very dark, this is the Wicked Witch and she’s wicked. And wicked tends to be fun.
Are they kidding me with this?!? Fun??! Fun!!! Fun to kill a major character off the show… I’m just. God, I’m just so over it.

That’s something I’m seeing: is this actually entertainment, right now? Am I entertained? No. Not really. And it doesn’t look like things are going to get any better Zelena and Rumple. HELP ME
