I guess we don’t know for certain, but i would say that you can’t kill the dark one unless you stab him with the dark one’s knife.

Hmm. If he’s doing all of this in order to die in the end Regina could stop him by letting him see Belle. Because then he wouldn’t want to die. Do you think she will? I know she has Belle for leverage against him. Like she used Henry for leverage with Emma.

But I don’t think that he wants to die or give up his power. I think he wants to win. Even now he’s still in a power struggle with Regina, telling her that he’s still stronger than her behind bars. I think he wants to beat her once and for all—that’s his goal in my mind.

I don’t think the fact that he helped her means that he isn’t trying to break the curse. He can tell the future and usually fortune tellers believe that the future will happen no matter what, right? So he saw that the curse would happen and he also saw that it would be broken eventually and he wasn’t going to try to stop it. He simply wanted to use it to his own advantage, which he has, through his deal with Regina & Snow.

I am not sure if i believe Rumpel can tell the future. There is just too much he doesn’t know. And there has not been any talk of him having visions or prophecy of just some events in the future. I think Snow just thought he could see the future.

The thing is that the curse would have never happened with out Rumpel, not only did he give it to the queen but he also helped her enact it, so it makes no sense to me that he would do either of those things if he can see the future and his goal is to end the curse.

And i think if his goal is for the queen to lose power, which may be part of his goal it still seems strange to me that he would help her enact the curse thereby giving her more power when she was already at a place where she had lost power. She wasn’t a queen anymore and the people didn’t respect her anymore.

I am not sure if Belle is going to survive the end of the show. I do think that Regina is going to use Belle as leverage, but i am afraid that she will in the end kill her.

Oh I hope they don’t kill Belle! I know this is Ragina’s world but it has to have a happily ever after! Like we saw that Abigail wasn’t always so cold in this past episode, she was just heartbroken because of her true love being turned to gold. She got him back in Fairytale land so I think she must find him, or he will find her in StoryBrooke. (Even though she tried to leave and is missing.)

As for August Wayne Booth I want to know what he did to the book. You don’t take a book apart for no reason. Maybe he was changing it, adding the ending back in if he was the original author. I have a feeling he has messed up the stories and Henry is going to notice sooner or later. After all he was living through the book and practically had it memorized.

I actually think that it is unlikely that all the characters will get happy endings and that just for plot to make Rumpel go really evil that killing Belle is probably the way to go. And because the queen will have leverage that it is even more likely she will be killed because Rumpel probably won’t give in when the queen threatens her and she will be killed.

I know this isn’t LOST, but they certainly killed a lot of characters in that show so well i don’t think that anyone is safe. This show is very different in that it doesn’t seem nearly as dangerous a situation as LOST. We will see if they kill any major characters by the end of the season or the beginning of the next one.

I think that EQ is ACTIVELY MANIPULATING things in Storybrook; but Mr Gold is affecting thing in a subtle back stage kind of way ; like a puppet master. He sets the charters on the stage and lets things develop. If he does not like how things develop he interferes in the background again.

Personally I think that Rumple’s future seeing abilities work like a give get type of thing. Kind of like the dark “force” that has taken over him requires that he can do nothing for free, which is why he always asks for something before he gives something(before the dark power will let him see whatever is being asked of him). For example he had to ask for snow and Charming’s child’s name before the dark force would tell him or let him see that that child would be the one to break the curse in 28 years. I hope that makes sense.

Hm, sounds plausible, only thing … Snow says Emma’s name while leaving. Rumple already told them, that their child would save them at the age of 28. 😐
