I just found the site and I think it’s great. Now to my question or I guess my theory on Henry’s book. I think August made a copy of it and changed some of the fairy tales and that is the book he put for Emma to discover behind her car. It looked to me he was aging the papers to make them look old. I think he keep the original book. What this means? No clue. That is just my idea.

What I wasn’t sure about was the whole part at the well where he talked about how drinking the water would return to the drinker something that was lost. I wondered if that was just thrown in there though to make the viewers assume he was talking about the book when he was really referring to something else (her parents??). Also, my original thoughts about him making a copy of the book and/or changing the pages and/or adding pages has been altered a bit after I watched the episode a second time because AWB told Emma “One thing I never do is lie.” This also made me again wonder if AWB is Pinnochio. Originally I wondered if Emma was found by the side of road by Pinnocio who came through the wardrobe with her in his wooden puppet form but the picture of her file with the newspaper clipping saying she had been found by a “local boy” shot that theory to pieces. But AWB’s comment about never lying does again make me wonder if he is Pinnochio. But, who knows, the way the writers try to tease it might just be them trying to get us to THINK he’s Pinnochio.
Finding this site and reading all these theories from other people = best thing I’ve done this week.
Anyways, I definitely think Rumpel knew who Henry was, and that he came from Emma, and that one day Regina having him would lead Emma to SB.
As for August and the book, it’s been driving me nuts since we got to see him tampering with the book, thinking what he could be doing with it. I’ve been considering the theory that maybe he’s in the book and either took himself out or changed his story. Maybe he even added himself somewhere in there. I’m not sure, just an idea. No matter what he did though I think he definitely knows about the FTL or he would have no reason to show the book or SB in general much interest.If August was adding pages then why? Why would he add stories to the book? There has to be a reason.
I don’t know, I never really get further in that part of the theory. But I can definitely see him being in there and him altering it or even removing it because there’s something in there he doesn’t want Emma/Henry/anyone to know. I remember my first thought when I saw him was that he was one of the villain characters, although I stopped thinking that after he clearly became a love interest for Emma. Still the first thing that popped into my mind was that he’s untrustworthy and altered his story in the book to make it seem like he is.
I agree. I definitely think that August is adding pages to the book, but i just wonder why. I actually still find him creepy. I would rather he not become a romantic interest for Emma, at least not how he is behaving now. He seems creepy to me not interesting so unless he comes clean to Emma with whatever he is doing then i don’t really like that idea. Though i do think that they are going to make him a love interest.
I do still find him creepy too, he just seems to be going in the love interest direction and they’re usually not bad so that made me backtrack on that theory. They could still do it though, I mean Rumpel is technically a villain yet he and Belle were in love. It would be a rather interesting turn out if August and Emma fell for each other but he was still actually a villain-ish character.
I don’t think he’s creepy. I think he knows Emma and is almost teasing her about it- in a flirty way. I just started another thread on what I think might be going on with him. I do think he may have had a questionable past but I think he is making up for it. But Emma also has a colorful past. But even Snow White isn’t all we thought she was from the Fairy Tale – they all have kind of a “darker” side which makes them more interesting. I can’t remember who talked about it in another thread but someone made a comment about it really hasn’t made much sense yet to talk about how there aren’t going to be any more happy endings in Storybrooke because there really didn’t seem to be all that much happiness going on in FTL. It was kind of one big Soap Opera in FTL and it’s like the same Soap Opera where all the characters have amnesia in Storybrooke.
What if AWB when he took Emma to the well and talking about getting back what you lost coming back to you was Henry. I think Regina will cave in to Henry to start seeing Emma again. And with the book back in hand whether pages was add to help them further the cause of bringing Regina down or lead them off the course will just have wait and see. I think Henry in a way is a threat to Regina and she doesn’t see it because he’s just a boy. Now AWB could every well be Pinnochio and he doesn’t have to be the boy who found her and if he was made from the tree the used to make the cabinet maybe he could go through it and not mess up the magic of the tree. Just another thought.
