You can tell that Henry comes from Emma who comes from snow and Charming. It does not take much to please him. He just wants to love feel it back, as Emma does that is why those are the same peas in the pot. Gold said in earlier episodes to Regina, “I saw them walking down the street together thick as thieves.” In a lot of ways Emma and Mary Margaret have that too. Rewatch the frist three episodes whenever they see each other, especially the first time; the look in MM’s eyes. That look I’m refering to in the next 2 episodes happens almost everytime they see each other until they starting living together. Which reminds me of that scene where Emma asks if her spare room was still available that is like a typical mother daughter moment. A daughter who has not scene her mother in years knocks on a door and asks if she can stay with her. The way MM answered is almost the same as a mother would.
Lol I love the 1st 7ish eps for that reason (the last 3wks have seen me watching my fav eps Over ‘N’ Over & I noticed all were in the 1st half of the season lol) 🙂

Me too 🙂
I also love the you have walls/ ‘almost tramp’ scene- love MM expression when Emma ask’s “Im like what?” lol[adrotate group="5"]April 19, 2012 at 9:04 am #142843miaParticipant@Surayya wrote:

That’s one of my absolute favourite scenes of the show! My favourite being Snow trying to kill that blue bird, lol. I re-watch it every time I need something to cheer me up. I love the way MM looks at Emma while picking the flowers out of the trash and latter says “Just because I don’t get emotional over men–”. <3
We really need a character appreciation forum, lol.
Back to Emma:
Do you guys think she would ever get over it that her mother is the same age as she? Assuming she finally believes, of course. It’s rather harsh. We know they already do have a sort of mother-daughter and vice-versa, best-friend relationship. They do get along, but would Emma be satisfied with that? Yes, she’d have a family and a sort of mother, but she’d never actually have “real” mom. On the other hand it would still be much more than she ever had before, so …

Yeah that Im still not sure on – she wants a family so bad, I dont know if they will just turn SW/MM into an (older) sister figure rather than mum figure to Emma….which is kinda weird considering she actually IS her mother (I know it’d creep me out BIG TIME lol 😆 )

Right now it is a yes. I believe it is just this very fact that makes her slow to stop playing make believe Op Cobra and Real Op Cobra. August and Jefferson have both opened her eyes a bit more, especially by the end of both Hat Trick and then Stableboy; when Jefferson just disappears into the hat she made and then finding Kath after testing her “heart”. It is the age. Emma’s never known a mom nor how to be mom. Starting on her 28th birthday she gets both and then some. I never been close to being in a situation like that but I can image starting with not much and getting a whole lot at once can be too much to handle.

That is a good one. I really like that one too. I love the scene where Emma asks Mary to have faith in her and i love the scene where Emma lays on her bed and talks about what it might be like to find her parents and then tells her that Henry thinks Mary is her mother.

I actually think Emma is going to have an issue when she really believes that they are her parents. Though i think eventually she will get over it. I think that Mary already seems very like her mother. Emma is a lot of times the awkward kid talking to her mother about different issues and i think that they sometimes seem like friends with Emma telling Mary to do the right thing. I actually think that it seems like a very real adult relationship between a mother and daughter. Though i could totally see Emma believing and running away because she can’t handle it.

Yes and I can see MM and David both convincing her to stay to help. Hopefully by then NN and David will realize they are Snow and Charming and now help their daughter Emma help them fight evil and a family together. They gave her her best shot nand returned, so they need to convince Emma her best shot now is to stay with them and Henry.

Yes!
Btw, the scene with Emma telling MM about Henry’s theory:
…
MM: I have a kid. You’d think I’d remember that.
Emma: Yeah, you’d think.
…
Well, I don’t have any kids yet, but don’t women always say that giving birth is one of those situations you never forget? It’s one of the biggest physical and emotional acts for a woman. MM not remember just shows how incredibly powerful the Dark Curse is!And again this is not really Emma related, just seems a waste opening another thread. Thinking about Emma I just have to think about MM/Snow and the curse and everything else …

Yes, I like these thoughts very much. The more I think about it, the more I am convised that the best way for Emma to be able to handle it, is her finding out before MM&David. If MM&David or just one of them comes up to her and tells her what they remember, she’ll never believe them. We’ve seen her reaction to people believing many times now. If she believed though and MM&David did not yet remember, she’d probably first be really awkward around them, but would also try to make them remember. She’d be afraid of course, but I think that would be a huge incentive.

They would have to be really convincing. Then again, we still have four episodes, so who knows what’s gonna happen. If they remember and Emma believes (or the other way around) then yes, MM&David/Snow&Charming (whatever …) would do anything in their power to make Emma stay and fight with them.

On the other hand it would still be much more than she ever had before, so …I think Emma’s deffinately going to have a hard time a) believing the curse can be possible, and b) excepting that MM is her mother and David is her father.
Especially since MM is her age and they have been acting like best-friends. I can see Emma finding out from over hearing MM and David, then storming off because she thinks they are being mean and stringing Henry along. But then, because MM is now Snow and not a push-over like MM, she’ll go after Emma and try to convince her, but then Emma will still not believe and accidently say something mean that she’ll regret and because she can’t stand that she hurt MM, she’ll try to leave storybrook…and she won’t be able to leave, so then she’ll probally get in another car crash trying to do so…Just how I can see Emma finding out…
April 19, 2012 at 6:34 pm #142887hjbauParticipantI really think that Emma is already starting to wonder if the stories are real. In Hat Trick she looked through the book for the Hatter’s story and in Stable Boy she was again looking through the book and while part of her still thinks it is nuts, the other part of her is trying to find evidence. There was the evidence with the keys and the fact that the story Jefferson told her was true and he had the scar and he disappeared after he fell out the window. And Emma certainly isn’t all in with her belief, but the fact that she is looking through the book is a huge step.
And i think that if she sees something like someone do something or hears someone say something that maybe she could get there.
April 19, 2012 at 8:05 pm #142899killianhookfanParticipantI keep thinking that they are going to throw something at us that is going to stop Emma from believing. It seems like suddenly everything is going along a little too easily in terms of Emma starting to believe. First Henry is able to get MM’s door open with Regina’s keys, then Emma sees Jefferson and Grace in the book after the whole Mad Hatter experience. Something just seems a bit “off” to me. Obviously she knows that something isn’t right is SB but it seems like the leap from “things here are really weird” to “I’m surrounded by Fairy Tale characters and my parents are Snow White and Prince Charming” is HUGE – even with something like Henry’s book. It just seems like things just started to travel in the right directions a little too quickly and easily all of a sudden. I guess part of what I am also having trouble overcoming is what happens when Emma does believe in the curse??? Even though I would really like to see that happen and it appears to be headed in that direction – I just have a strange feeling about it.
