Now with all that is said. What if the deal Emma made with Gold is to have her leave and never return. After all Rumple did say to Cinderella I will get you baby in this world or the next, no one breaks a deal with me. The new deal struck is to negate that one so the consequences are not going to be light. It is not going to be for half a sandwich or any favor that he can do himself. He is not going to use this deal up for a petty thing it is going to be major.

I keep thinking that they are going to throw something at us that is going to stop Emma from believing. It seems like suddenly everything is going along a little too easily in terms of Emma starting to believe. First Henry is able to get MM’s door open with Regina’s keys, then Emma sees Jefferson and Grace in the book after the whole Mad Hatter experience. Something just seems a bit “off” to me. Obviously she knows that something isn’t right is SB but it seems like the leap from “things here are really weird” to “I’m surrounded by Fairy Tale characters and my parents are Snow White and Prince Charming” is HUGE – even with something like Henry’s book. It just seems like things just started to travel in the right directions a little too quickly and easily all of a sudden. I guess part of what I am also having trouble overcoming is what happens when Emma does believe in the curse??? Even though I would really like to see that happen and it appears to be headed in that direction – I just have a strange feeling about it.
Once she believes, then she has to figure who everyone is & get most or at least the useful ones to remember then I think the battle will really start….The next few eps synopsis seem to indicate that things in SB go a bit off the rails for Emma, so maybe things wont unfold as quickly as it 1st seems – I Really wish abc (or who ever the powers that be are) would flippn well announce the 2nd seasons renewal already- most of the new shows that started around the same time already have Green or Red lights for their 2nd seasons & OUaT has beaten out at least one of those renewed shows in ratings a number of times already! It make it so much easier for us to speculate on how long it’ll take Emma to believe & everyone else to remember & then for the battle to start etc if we knew if there was going to be a 2nd season.

I was thinking about this the other day & I think he’ll use it to be pardoned- after all Emma is the princess of SW/PC kingdom & she’s an adult so will have a say- if they stayed in SB then she’s Sheriff so is still the only one who he can get to let him off the hook when everyone remembers – he out right said he hates being in a cage.

Never thought of that. That is possibility. Now is it a last resort pardon or was it the plan all along. Was plan on having things go sideways.

I FT world Rumple is still in prison (cause he wrote with the quill to sign the contract with Cinderella) so he is probably going to tell Emma he wants to use that favor to get released. And Emma with have to do it, so Rumple will get released and will either be able to go around and create havoc, making deals or he will go be with Belle, if he knows she’s alive.
April 20, 2012 at 11:41 am #142966hjbauParticipantI don’t know. Rumpel was collecting the objects like Snow and Charming’s hair well before he was in the dungeon cave and if those are the ingredients for the dark curse then if he would have just stopped and been a better person everyone would have left him alone.
April 20, 2012 at 12:07 pm #142976rosered99ParticipantI think the hairs are also how Rumpel knew that Snow and James’ child was the savior on her 28 birthday. Because the hairs together are true love and Emma was made because of true love, so he knew that Emma would be the savior. And wouldn’t the curse then be specificly for Snow and James? Because Rumpel said that “no two loves are every alike” so he took Snow’s hair to make it more personal. Or did he only do that so he could get her hair?
April 20, 2012 at 12:09 pm #142978hjbauParticipantYeah that is what i think too. That the hair is the reason that Emma is the savior. I think Rumpel did that deal with Snow because he wanted her hair.
April 20, 2012 at 9:02 pm #143053surayyaParticipantPersonally I think the real question is with how much detail can Rumps see the future?
Yep I too am pretty sure his collections are all to do with his master plan However He did make the curse/give it to EQ Well before we see his collections start happening! (so far) He had to have known he’d need Cinder’s child/baby to bargain with Emma for instance, which also happened well before the curse was enacted – I think the my biggest question regarding all this, is exactly how long has Rumps known ‘this’ future event & therefore being working or guiding everyone towards it & how exactly how detailed is his knowledge of future events?! Is it a bit Harry Potter & he could have chosen another? Did Emma really have to be the savior? etc
As far as the SW/PC true love hairs go I dont think they have much to do with Emma being savior personally (aside from the fact that PC/SW also had her lol) – he just needed 2 people who despite everything & one against them chose True Love, I mean look at how many power people including Genie you cant wish for True Love (it doesnt work like that), well now Rumps is the ONLY one we know of who has it bottled ready for use!
April 20, 2012 at 9:13 pm #143055hjbauParticipantI still don’t think that Rumpel can see the future. If he made the curse then he caused it to happen and gave it to Regina and helped her to enact it. He collected ingredients and told her about using the heart of the one you love most. Rumpel caused the curse to happen so there is no reason for him to have seen the future. It is sort of like if i tell you that i am going to hit you and then hit you i didn’t see the future i just made my statement come true.
