The Chernabog was going after Emma Swan because she had the heart with the greatest potential for darkness, even more so than Regina.

The big question, then: Will Emma Swan go evil? Can the Savior be corrupted?

Kind of new that was going to happen due to the Hook/Belle convo. Love is a weapon, therefore, the child of true love could become the most powerful weapon of all.

Emma’s dark heart…whatever secret her folks are keeping, I’m sure it won’t make the situation any better,

I think it make sense. For me my perspective is, that those who are capable of great good are also capable of committing great evil!

Greatest Example Superman…Ever Time Superman goes evil. BAAD STUFF HAPPENS. I mean those Injustice games…All the hero’s and Villains have to team up to defeat Superman.

I can buy it in the sense that Emma’s magic is arguably the strongest of anyone’s, therefore if she went bad, she’d be the biggest bad.

Do I buy that someone whose power is meant to be the purest of all could be turned evil? Not so much.

Tempted, possibly. But Emma Swan won’t be converted or stay evily for very long.

I agree that Emma won’t turn evil. The Charmings’ secret probably will only tempt Emma towards being evil, but the “recovering” villains will save her, thereby proving they’re firmly on the heroes’ side now.

Unless Emma’s heart gets cursed with darkness…I can see her being our Season 5A Villainess if handled right? Like she gets possessed by some ancient dark being or something? Or just becomes evil till the curse is broken.

It’s possible A&E might pull a “Dark Willow” with Emma where she does become dark due to a big emotional upset, however her friends and family would be able to bring her back to the light.

I feel like Emma learning about whatever secret Snow and Charming are hiding from her will be what gets her to turn dark, for however long she does. That would come across as a huge betrayal to Emma, and would make her question their trust. Not only that, but it would make Emma question where the line is drawn between heroes and villains.
