Emma is 28, Henry’s 10 but don’t know their exact birthdates in the real world. This is the best deductive reasoning I have seen so far on figuring that out.
So, if Emma is 28 years old, and Pinocchio was seven when she was born, then that means that August is 35 years old (which, incidentally, is how old Eion Bailey is).
Also, we know now that Henry is in the fourth grade, which means that he’s one of the older kids in his class at age 10. This actually kind of fits in with what we already know, because Emma has said several times that she was 18 when she gave birth to Henry, even though Henry was already ten on her 28th birthday, meaning that she was really still 17 when he was born. It’s reasonable that she might round up to 18 if she was within a month of her birthday, though, and if we assume that her birthday is October 23, 1983 (aka 28 years before the pilot’s airdate), and that Henry was born sometime between September 23 and October 22, 2001, then that fits with Henry being one of the oldest kids in his class. (And Regina would hold him back an extra year so that he would have the extra advantage, and so that she could keep him to herself for a year longer.)
And, now that I’m thinking about months and stuff, it’s probably still only late February/early March in Storybrooke. I mean, we know that “Skin Deep” took place on Valentine’s Day, and we know that Regina and Gold must have struck their deal some time between the end of “Skin Deep” and the end of “What Happened to Frederick”, yet we also know that only one week passed between that deal and the events of “The Stable Boy”. I don’t think that much time has passed since then, and roughly one week after Valentine’s Day is February 21, so…
(Although, now that I think about it, Emma totally told Michael in “True North” that Henry had shown up on her doorstep one month ago, and Regina says in “Fruit of the Poisonous Tree” that the sheriff’s race of “Desperate Souls” was three weeks earlier, so if we assume that there’s a week in between each episode from 1.08-1.11, and that “Skin Deep” takes place relatively soon after “Fruit of the Poisonous Tree”, then “Skin Deep” takes place about 7 weeks after “Pilot”, making Emma’s birthday roughly December 27, 1983, so aww, she’s a Christmas baby. And if Henry’s birthday is within a month before hers, and Regina adopted Henry when he was three weeks old, then that means that Henry was Regina’s Christmas present. Too. Cute. This is now my personal canon.)

That means it is probably within a month of her getting pregnant and then nine months later would be around maybe late February most likely mid March.
And Emma has only once said that she was 18 when she had Henry and that was when she told Ashley that and it was right after Ashley said she was 19, so i think Emma just lied. I would guess that Emma has been in town for between four and six months at this point so her birthday is probably somewhere between October and December.

There was a theory in another thread wondering why MM’s cell phone id outdated and there are no modern cars. Someone suggested that they are in 2007 SB. I agree with everything suggested before except the year.

That would mean Emma gave birth to Henry exactly on her 18th birthday. Emma said she was in jail when she gave birth and she was a minor because her juvinile records were sealed by a court order.

Henry would have said something. It is our birthday. That isn’t something that can just not be mentioned. That would seem inconsistent. I have much less issue with Emma just lying to sound older when talking about when she gave birth because that seems like a normal lie and maybe she had been lying about her age at the time. I just have much less issue with Emma lying then with she and Henry sharing the same birthday.
