Emma angrily throwing darts at Grannys was nostalgic of Graham’s dart throwing scene after Emma found out he had a fwb relationship with Regina.
It was kind of weird to watch because we had seen this scene where Graham is struggling with not feeling emotions so he’s taking it out on the dart board. Then Emma walks in he almost hits her with a dart because she’s trying to run from him. He kisses her and it brings him on the road to remember who he truly was that ultimately lead to his death.
But now we see Emma struggling with Neal’s death taking it out on the dart board, like Graham. Hook is trying to keep her away from the path of revenge. Hook consoling Emma, Henry and himself.
These scenes were obviously mirrored I don’t see a strong enough connection. What were the writers trying to communicate by doing that because there was a message there but I missed it.

We also see Emma angrily throwing flowers out in s1, and angrily busting a toaster.
Magic always comes with a price, so I pay with visa.
It might be used to get everybody to remember Graham. They said, they would have liked him back and we would know why when we watched the finale. So he might be mentioned in an upcoming episode and they wanted to kind of foreshadow this?
My guess is that later this season Emma will perform a task that requires really good aim, and they need to establish that she can.

It could also tie in with this episode’s theme of emotion as fuel for magic.
