I think Bae is Henry’s father even though i don’t want him to be, so Bae. Though Emma may have flirtations with someone else before Bae comes into town and that is either Pinocchio, which i don’t really like either because he has no personality, or a new guy.

Partly because I don’t want him to have ended up as a deadbeat–though there could have been a misunderstanding or he could have hardened if that is the case. But it is also the odds of that even happening–the savior meeting the reason behind the curse and conceiving a child together. It seems too much.
That said, I wouldn’t mind Baelfire and Emma being each other’s True Love in the romantic sense. It would be a better way for the characters to connect without it being too much coincidental, and I think Emma and Baelfire would have a lot in common.
1). Both were sent to a land without magic.
2). Both were abandoned. Baelfire by his father (Rumpelstiltskin did chose magic over his own son) and Emma was abandoned by Pinocchio.
3). Both are connected to the curse. Baelfire is the reason behind it’s creation and Emma is the savior, the key to the curse.
4). Both are probably going to have issues with their parents.July 17, 2012 at 11:01 pm #152180lilredParticipant@hjbau wrote:

August’s main characteristic seems to be his stubble. 😆
So, you want Henry’s dad to be Emma’s true love or will he just be the love interest introduced this season?
July 18, 2012 at 4:10 am #152184obisgirlParticipantI voted for Bae.
I know I wrote a fic about August/Emma awhile back but since the reveal that August is Pinnochio — a romantic pairing just seems rediculous. I mean, can you imagine the conversation, “I’m dating Pinnochio — he’s a puppet!”
Mr. Gold belongs with Belle. That is it.
Graham, I would have loved to have seen earlier on but I think would be harder to make possible since he is dead now.
If Baelfire is an adult when we see him again, a romance with Emma might be interesting.

And his eyes, don’t forget the dreamy, blue eyes. 😉 There’s a blog post I found once that sums it up nicely…
You see, the problem with Eion Bailey can really be summed up in six simple words, though one of them is profane and thus is edited here for content:
Holy @!#*&, those eyes are BLUE!!
Note: the word “BLUE” here should be pronounced in two syllables, with your voice going up on the first one as it might if you were yelling the word “YA-hoo!” BA-loo, I tell you, BA-LOO!!
😉
Anyway, I briefly thought they’d make a good couple, but now can’t really imagine anything beyond a sibling type relationship between them.@obisgirl wrote:

That would be somewhat problematic, yes. LOL

Whilst I’m not completely opposed to Bae being Henry’s father, and could live with it if that turns out to be the case, I sort of hope he’s not, just because so much of the fandom seems to be convinced of it already. It’d be more interesting if they shock us with it being someone completely different IMO.
But I do like the idea of Emma and Bae having a relationship. Given the history and tension between their parents, it’d make for a nice forbidden love kind of storyline if they ended up together.
July 18, 2012 at 9:28 am #152192SlurpeezParticipantWhat about Emma and Jefferson? I know he’s a bit mad, but now that Grace remembers him, perhaps he’ll regain his sanity. I think the main thing that drove him crazy was knowing his daughter had no memories of her dad. I could see Emma falling for a mysterious and magical good-looking dude like him. Before he went batty, he was a sweet and loving father. If he gets his sanity back I think he and Emma would be great together. Also, how cute would it be if Grace and Henry became a cute teenage couple in years to come?

Love Interest. Sorry for the confusion–people were mentioning True Love and who they thought Henry’s father was and I thought I’d give my opinion on it. 😀 Although thinking about it now, it could be that her Love Interest will be her True Love–no one’s really sure.
That said, not really a big fan on Jefferson and Emma–he is a possibility and all, but given how he kidnapped her and Mary Margaret (though he did save her from leaving Storybrooke) and force her to make a hat while holding a gun to her head, it is hard for me to imagine Emma giving him a chance, let alone forgiving him. Not to mention that he helped Regina to get the apple that was meant to poison Emma, only Henry ended up getting hurt–Emma is couragous and kind and loyal, but she has never struck me as forgiving, especially when the people she loves get hurt.

There is nothing coincidental in this world. It’ seems too much because the curse has made it that way.
There is always his side, her side, and the truth. I don’t take Emma’s story as 100% truth. She was young, in trouble, pregnant, never had a good family life, and she never told the father. Bae was essentially abandoned by his father in a land totally unfamiliar to him. I can see him being bitter, too. The thing that made me convinced Bae is the father is in “The Stranger” where August just knew the minute Emma returned to Storybrooke. I think because they’re all from another world, maybe on some level or frequency, they unknowingly recognized a kindred soul and connected. They were attracted, but wrong time, place, and situation and result was estrangement and Henry. I just can’t see Henry’s father being Joe Blow. He has to have some link to Storybrooke because he’s coming in to the picture at some point this season.

Well since Bae is Henry’s father then i think he will be Emma’s true love though i think that there has clearly been a major disagreement between the two of them so they are going to have to work that out before they are together as a couple. And that could be a long time in coming. Emma has a lot going on right now as it is without a guy.
Oh and I hate the idea of Bae being Henry’s father as well, but it is what it is.
