    Perhaps Emma’s superpower ability to tell when people are lying is the result of going through the magical wardrobe after Pinocchio. Since Pinocchio is known for lying, perhaps the counterpart rubbed off on Emma so that she has a heightened ability to discern truth.

    I actually love this idea! I’m not sure I can believe that theory, but I like it! I just always assumed her “superpower” came from growing up in an environment where there were many lies told and she became very good at spotting them. There are people like that. Must say, you’re theory’s much cooler. :mrgreen:
