    Both Rumple and Regina know that if everyone knew that the Enchanted Forest still existed they’d try and get everyone back there.

    But neither Rumpelstiltskin nor Regina want to go back. Rumpelstiltskin wants to find his son, and Regina doesn’t think life in the Enchanted Forest was ever particularly fair to her. She’s not wrong.

    And its not like she could have known there would be someone marked right there at the other side of the portal. I mean, really, what are the odds?

    Wait! I just got an idea! What if Cora is marked, and Regina knew that Cora was marked, so she sent the wraith through so it would get her mother! In that case, maybe the pit she’s in is protected by some sort of magic and she’s down there hiding from the wraith. That village is their haven, right?
