Ugh, I hope not. I think the WWW could be the “hero” in that she saves Rumple since we know she winds up controlling him, but to have him lose his memories? They already did that with Belle, and then with Emma and Henry, and now with all of SB again and Henry……it’s just too redundant, I wouldn’t find that interesting at all. I think if it’s the WWW then it would affect Rumple’s mindset by making him feel like he owed her or something. If it’s someone other than the WWW then it must be someone he wouldn’t have expected – i.e. Hook or something, and that would make him question things and change his mindset. But I really hope he hasn’t lost his memories.
The idea of WW being a “hero” honestly turns my stomach. Spoilers say that Gold has tricks up his sleeve, so I don’t think he will los his memories. It can’t be Hook because Hook is not in the same place that Gold was sent…. If he’s dead, really dead, he should stay that way (for reasons – I made a separate post about this in the general spoiler thread).
Either Jen is talking about his being alive in that world he was sent to, in which case it can only be WW (but I would never ever view her as a hero; IMO, Gold deserves a lot more than being revived from the dead or being tended to by this witch with evil intentions) or she’s talking about his being alive in SB, which would be a shock to everyone, except Belle, who even without her FTL memories would still have believed he could be alive.
Assuming Gold has his memories, the notion that he wouldn’t fight, if at all possible, to go home to Belle and Bae is impossible for me to believe – and it would make him look terrible if Belle is fighting for him and he’s just……well, whatever. I’m alive and la dee da, I’ll accept that I’m never going to see her again
I know Belle will ultimately be the hero of this story (unless it’s Gold also, saving himself via the power of his love for her), but this just is driving me crazy. I’m hanging onto the idea that Gold has tricks up his sleeve….and I’m completely fine (and would LOVE to see it) with him faking being controlled …especially if he’s trying to get back home
