Is it time for S3 yet? How about now? NOW?!
[adrotate group="5"]August 9, 2013 at 8:36 am #203816RumplesGirlKeymasterto be a 200 year-old person, you know because you don’t grow up there, you have to keep yourself amused
That right there completely kills any theory that PP has the young boys around because he is lonely or doesn’t want to be alone.
“The reveal of Ariel, who she is, when she is coming is not something we’re ready to announce just yet, but it is something that we’re excited,
That sounds very much like she won’t be appearing until late first half of the season.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"August 9, 2013 at 8:56 am #203819PheeParticipantThe idea of a perpetually bored, perpetual 17 year old, having to come up with ways to amuse himself, with no adults to tell him what he can and can’t do…no good can come from that.
Agreed about Ariel. The wait may kill me, but it’d make sense if they pace out the introduction of the new characters. Give us several eps to get accustomed to PP and Tink before showing us Ariel. I posted in the Little Mermaid thread just before, speculating about Neal arriving in NL in the water (again) and that being when they introduce us to mermaids. My headcanon has Ariel as human in present day, but even if so, I could see them not showing us Ariel until after they’ve shown us mermaids. I’d guess that Neal might get out of FTL just after the half way mark in this first block of eps?
August 9, 2013 at 9:00 am #203820RumplesGirlKeymasterSee my headcannon has Ariel as a mermaid still (at least 90% of the time) and the idea of her pulling Neal out of the water has too many Ariel/Prince Eric overtones and then holy shipping wars, Batman.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"August 9, 2013 at 9:11 am #203824PheeParticipantNo matter her form, mermaid or human, if she saved Neal, people would understandably liken it to the Little Mermaid story. But it’d just be a fake out so they can shock us all when they eventually show her saving someone else in the past. 😛

“However long Peter Pan has been there and for whatever reason he has been there, we intend to reveal our take on that and on the legend of Peter Pan,” Horowitz spills. “We have a way that it intertwines with our Once Upon a Time mythology that we’re really excited to unveil.”
Adam has a way of luring us fans in but without giving away too much. Yet, the last sentence right there makes me believe PP is indeed the author of Henry’s book (i.e. mythology). Since Neverland is where imagination comes from, according to Eddy and Adam, then it would make a lot of sense if his book came from there, too.
“You know us, we love to give nods to the iconography and I don’t think it’ll be any different with Ariel.” Horowitz says. “There will be a nod to what we all know and love about her and hopefully there will be a really cool twist.” Fingers crossed we’ll see her gadgets and gizmos of plenty!
I want thing-a-ma-bobs, too! Anyway, I wonder what this “cool twist” could be for Ariel. We already know that Ariel is the type who craves to be part of the human world. Perhaps the twist is that Ariel once was a human but somehow she became cursed to be a mermaid! (Reverse order of the original story). Plus, Captain Hook told Baelfire in 2×22 to be wary of the curse of the mermaids.

I like it. And if the trusty Blue fairy was filling PP in on all the happenings in FTL that would fit nicely with many theories we’ve proposed over two years.

That would be an interesting twist.

I have such a love/hate relationship with that man. Regularly wanna hug and slap him at the same time. 😛

I’ve been wondering the same since coming across a tumblr post the other day that brought up this quote…
Jefferson: And storybooks are based on what? Imagination? Where does that come from? It has to come from somewhere.
…and they connected it to how K&H have said that NL is where imagination comes from.

Why am I getting the feeling that Peter Pan and his adventures in Neverland is going to resemble Lord of the Flies! 😉
I know we discounted Jefferson as the books author, but for the life of me I can’t remember why. I know one thing is he might have been “stuck” in his house, but isn’t hard to call for pick up from Goodwill or another business who would pick up and old book. Who knows, maybe he got out of Wonderland early and was able to record the stories.
I fear we’re never going to find out the book’s author. My money is still on a fairy. Or Rumple…or anyone. 😛

Oooh. Ooooh. Oooooooh. This I like. Ok, totally on board the “PP wrote the book (with the help of the Blue Fairy)” boat.
