Thomas: Once Upon a Time scoop?
It looks like Peter Pan will have more than just Lost Boys on his payroll as the ABC hit is currently looking to fill the roles of Glasses and Keychain. Yes, those are their names. Both Brits in their late 20s, both have been hardened by their years of servitude. While Glasses is sophisticated, erudite and focused, Keychain is a wild card who lost his innocence a long time ago.[adrotate group="5"]"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"September 12, 2013 at 10:37 am #209325RumplesGirlKeymasterKeychain sounds a lot like the guy in Hook who is looking for his marbles. Anyone else remember him?

Toodles! that’s it. He’s the one Lost Boy who has been in almost every PP adaptation. I wondered if we’d see him:
Tootles appears in almost all Peter Pan related material. He is described as the most humble of the Lost Boys because of his terrible luck with adventures: as soon as Tootles goes away to complete a chore or some such, bloody battles and thrilling adventures take place. Because of this, he has become accepting of his lot in life, and he is much sweeter for it. He is the one who shoots Wendy Darling with a bow and arrow after Tinker Bell tells them Wendy is a bird, and convinces them that killing her would bring great favor with Peter, so when the mistake is discovered, he tells Peter to kill him. However, since Wendy survives, Tootles is spared. Though he is clumsy and silly, Tootles is the first to defend Wendy when she wants to return to London. When Peter takes possession of “The Jolly Roger”, Captain Hook‘s pirate ship, Tootles takes Smee‘s place as boatswain. At the end of the novel, he returns to London with Wendy and the other lost boys and eventually grows up to become a judge. In “Peter Pan in Scarlet“, he turns into a girl because he only has daughters to borrow clothes from, and spends most of the book playing princess and dreaming about marrying Peter Pan. His character is largely minimized in the animated Disney version, as he has no lines of dialogue; he wears a skunk suit in this film. However, in this version, he is often shown to have an occasional moment of brilliance; thus, making him the smartest of the Lost Boys. In Peter Pan and the Pirates, Tootles (voiced by Chris M. Allport) wears a panda hat and his left eye is black to complement this. Since he is presumably the same age and size as Michael, he acts as a brother to him.

What if Glasses and Keychain are really Wendy Darling’s brothers? Maybe John (aka Glasses) and Michael (aka Keychain) returned as teenagers to NL in search of Baelfire, despite his sacrifice to keep them safe? Now they’re stuck in NL, where John/Glasses has kept his sophiscoated outlook on the world (like in the Disney version) but poor little Michael has lost his childhood innocence due to the harshness of NL.

That’s possible. If they’ve been trying to find Baelfire this entire time. But it says they work for PP, though it doesn’t say they are in NL. So why wold Michael and John be working for PP?

Glasses does sound a lot like John. Hmmm. I think you and Watcher are on to something.

Maybe PP gave them an ultimatum: either work for him or have their shadows ripped off. By Felix’s testimony, PP sounds like a real piece of work. By the sounds of it, they are growing increasingly dissatisfied working for Peter.

Maybe they’ve grown so tired of doing PP’s bidding that they’re side with the Jolly Roger 6 by working on the inside to save Henry.

Very true. And traditionally, the Lost Boys get odd nicknames that represent who they are. They forget their real names. So Glasses and Keychains could be what PP calls them. Makes me wonder, is Wendy there too?
