I’ve had it in my head for a while that Wendy searched for Bae, which she probably wasn’t really able to do properly until she was round about 20. Then I think she ended up in NL. So, if we say that these late 20s guys are her younger brothers, I wanna say that they looked for Wendy, the same way she’d looked for Bae.
That would make a lot of sense.
That would lead them to NL as well. Almost 30s people aren’t PP’s faves, so they were forced into “years of servitude”.
Maybe, but I think they could just be 20-somethings playing older teenagers (like Parker Croft is 26 but playing an 17 or 18-year-old).
How does someone end up with the nickname Keychain though? Hook’s gonna be flashing around a key in 301, and it’s probably gonna pop up again in 305 judging by the pic of the script that Adam tweeted.
That is an excellent point! Maybe Hook and Michael Darling are secret allies working to take down PP?

September 12, 2013 at 11:22 am #209352HappyEndingsSpectatorOther inhabitants of Neverland are suggested by Barrie in his original novel, such as a “small old lady with a hooked nose”, “gnomes who are mostly tailors”, and princes “with six elder brothers” – reminiscent of European fairy tale

What if these 2 are the elder brothers of the princes along with Felix.?

Up until now, I’d never heard mention of this before. So, it seems a tad too obscure to include in the mere 11 episodes we spend in NL. We’ll be lucky to see the backstories of just Peter Pan, Hook and Tinkerbell at this rate.

I agree. Very minor. Barrie mentions them in passing and even then it’s like one small paragraph. The Darlings are far more important to the overall tale.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"September 12, 2013 at 11:33 am #209355PheeParticipantIt was too long to post in the chat, but this is the mention of the princes in the actual text of the story. It’s a brief mention in passing, they’re not actually characters…
I don’t know whether you have ever seen a map of a person’s mind. Doctors sometimes draw maps of other parts of you, and your own map can become intensely interesting, but catch them trying to draw a map of a child’s mind, which is not only confused, but keeps going round all the time. There are zigzag lines on it, just like your temperature on a card, and these are probably roads in the island; for the Neverland is always more or less an island, with astonishing splashes of colour here and there, and coral reefs and rakish-looking craft in the offing, and savages and lonely lairs, and gnomes who are mostly tailors, and caves through which a river runs, and princes with six elder brothers, and a hut fast going to decay, and one very small old lady with a hooked nose. It would be an easy map if that were all; but there is also first day at school, religion, fathers, the round pond, needlework, murders, hangings, verbs that take the dative, chocolate pudding day, getting into braces, say ninety-nine, three-pence for pulling out your tooth yourself, and so on; and either these are part of the island or they are another map showing through, and it is all rather confusing, especially as nothing will stand still.

September 12, 2013 at 11:40 am #209357PheeParticipantSo you think the key Hook gives Emma and is part of 305 is somehow related to Keychain (who is potentially Michael Darling)? I gotta think on this.
No idea, haven’t thought it through, just figured I’d toss it out there because we’ve seen a key and we’re getting a Keychain.
Maybe, but I think they could just be 20-somethings playing older teenagers (like Parker Croft is 26 but playing an 17 or 18-year-old).
Casting call, (where I’m guessing this info came from) would have mentioned them as teenagers still, just like the casting call for Felix did.

We’ve assumed the key was for a locked box that Bae’s old sword was in, but it could have been a key for anything, really.
September 12, 2013 at 11:44 am #209358HappyEndingsSpectatorThat Key, I betcha is where Hook locked up TB in for safe keeping.

I’m still scratching my head over the key that Adam tweeted with the “Good Form” title. It’s the same apple key that Regina used to unlock Mary Margaret’s apartment to frame her for a fake murder in S1. Yet, why would the apple key be linked to Hook? My first thought was to just to call Adam a troll, but now that we have a photo of Hook holding a key in 3×1, I’m not so sure. Curiouser and curiouser.

What if he already brainwashed her as an agent and it was all an act, so she acted frightened, and Bae volunteered to go. You have to go willingly, and there was no other way he would go. Then when it returned, it took her brothers and her back.
Glasses does make sense for a codename for a grown up darling brother, but not sure of keychain. Guess they could just make up a random word too once in awhile :P.
