Which just makes me wonder how we are going to get belle back.
I think it needs to be a mix of both parties wanting to be better. Rumple decides he can’t be with her because it means being dark. Seeing Rumple give all that up for the chance to be “good” sparks something within her and BOOM. TLK.
I really really really hope this happens. And I hope it happens before seasons end.

Rumple giving Belle the Library
1.Rumple asking Lacey out on the date
2. Rumple beating the crap out of Keith,
3. Bae “he’s a real lightweight”
4. Charming wingmanning it for Rumple
5. Amnesic Belle and Rumple in the hospitalleast favorite
Hook locked up c’mon he deserves a better return hope GOAT catches a Hook in the chest before the finale!April 22, 2013 at 3:09 am #187668RumplesGirlKeymasterOMGold, the hospital scene between Rumbelle. My feelings. He was so close. SO CLOSE. If Regina hadn’t interfered, this episode would have totally different.
I’ve tried being sympathetic with regards to Regina in the past because there are some moments when I do feel terrible for her but right now: 😈 😈 😈 😈

Oh that was so messed up! She’s just so vindictive!

*Neal & Emma (and Henry being carried by Neal) – They are so great together and maybe it’s just me, but Emma’s eyes were SO sad when Neal said she doesn’t give up until she finds something. I really hope they talk at some point about what happened between them. That HAS to happen! BTW-I can’t believe that sneak peak ended up being the last scene of the episode. How often does that happen?! LOL 😆
*Emma & Anton’s reunion – That was SO sweet and I loved how Anton’s face lit up when he saw his friend again. I think their friendship is so adorable and there’s an interesting element of trust between the two of them that I have a feeling won’t be forgotten in the longer term story. I can see Emma turning to him for help with something at some point because she knows that he would help her without question.
*Emma & her parents – Talk about hitting her where it hurts….telling her that starting over as a family might help her find her happy ending (and reminding her that this world hasn’t been all that kind to her). I can see how Emma would have a lot to think about with regards to that but having both her parents want to return home now is going to really make it hard for her to figure out what to do.
*Regina & Gold – I LOVE the interactions between them and even though it sucked, I liked that Regina came after him for the Neal revelation because these two are at their very best when they’re battling each other. Eventually they’re going to have to work together though to protect Henry and that should be a fascinating journey to see how it gets to that point.
*Belle & Rumple flashback – Loved their back story this week (the library scene was awesome) and count me as another fan who thinks Robin Hood and Maid Marion are Tamara’s parents. Interested to see if Robin & Marian are in Storybrooke or somewhere in the real world.
*Charming being Gold’s wing man when trying to ask out Lacey. Hilarious! 😆
*Neal & Henry’s sword fighting was adorable.
*LOVE that Gold now owes Charming a favor! That HAS to come back in a huge way at some point soon. 😀
*Emma was looking at her parents’ story in the storybook at the dock. I LOVE that she’s actively looking for and wanting to know about where she was supposed to grow up. Everyone should know where they come from and I’m glad Emma is finally searching and really wanting to know this information now. During this dock scene, she kind of looked like that lost little girl that I always feel is hiding inside her while she was looking at the book.Least Favorite:
*Lacey – Not really sure how I feel about her overall but I hated her leaving Gold at the table alone and running off to make out with that Sheriff. For all that Gold/Rumple has done, he definitely didn’t deserve that and was trying to do the right things on their date. I actually felt bad for him.
*Regina finding the beans….what is she doing to do with this information?
*Tamara & Greg – I just don’t like them and I HATE that they’re up to no good. 🙁

April 22, 2013 at 4:21 am #187704CrownedWithLaurelsParticipantThe exchange in the woods when he spared Robin Hoods life. Every moment of that scene.
“You’re not the kind of man to leave a child fatherless.” *feeeeeels*And the looks exchanged.
THESE LYRICS—>
“She glanced this way, I thought I saw
And when we touched she didn’t shudder at my paw
No, it can’t be I’ll just ignore
But then she’s never looked at me that way before…”Please someone make a gif set with these lyrics an that scene! Hug–>Rumples confused face–>her look, etc. –> his smile.

I was hoping for a ballroom scene but yes the library was definitely one of my favorite moments
April 22, 2013 at 5:28 am #187703KebParticipantLibrary scenes (two of them now!) > ballroom scene. As much fun as that would be, I just don’t quite see it with this particular incarnation. But the library–that’s actually what I see as tying the two of them together. When Gold’s all upset that he and Lacey have nothing in common–that’s exactly what Regina wanted of course. So it leads to the question: What did Belle and Rumple have in common? They’re both smart, pretty good at reading people, value bravery, and love a good story. Oh, and they’re total nerds (which I say as a high compliment and in reference to a tumblr gifset that proved the case to me). Evidence? Belle obviously loves her books, but Rumple reads plenty too. Including the town charter. Belle looks for the good in Rumple partly because she wants the story to be better than she fears; Rumple told Cinderella that every story needs a memorable detail and dressed Charming up for his heroic moment with Snow at the coffin. Rumple quotes things about libraries when he gives her the SB library. And they never get very far on their dates before someone interrupts them, but they clearly have things to chat about; she might not entirely approve of magic because of Dark Magic’s effects on Rumple, but she’s interested enough to laugh when he goes on about condiments.
So all or most of that is gone from Lacey. 🙁

April 22, 2013 at 5:45 am #187708angiebelleParticipantWow- I had been anticipating this episode for quite some time. I really liked it, however there were a lot of parts that were hard to watch.
I loved the moment with Belle and Gold in the hospital- he was so close! If Regina hadn’t interfered, he likely would have won her heart back. That was so heartbreaking watching Gold with Lacey. She doesn’t care much about others, does she? Emilie de Ravin was right- total 180 from Belle.
Wow…Lacey started off being a lot of fun, but that ending bit where she’s practically cheering Gold on as he beat up Keith- rather disturbing! Lacey’s pretty dark, and Gold seems to have given up on his resolve to be a better man. What can this mean for both of them?
Totally called it that the birthday party sequence was a dream and that it would trigger the need to see Belle!
Early parts of the flashback were hard to watch…Rumple torturing Robin and all. I mean, I am definitely a RumBelle fan, but even I was questioning Belle’s way of thinking there- she falls in love with a guy who does *that*? However, I loved the end when Rumple pretended he didn’t care but missed on purpose because the idea of leaving a child fatherless struck a nerve. It was great to see that inkling of goodness in him. I also *loved* the bit with him giving her the library, and again pretending he wasn’t doing something kind.
Regina is up to her old tricks again- she’s being very reminiscent of the scheming Regina we met in the first season. I am not sure what was going through her head when she discovered all the beans though.
I thought it was really great how they juxtaposed Belle and Lacey- saying word for word the same thing with completely different context.
What do Greg and Tamara want to do with Hook??
