That tongue stealing thing has to be foreshadowing right? He totally stole that idea from Ursula.

*LOVE that Gold now owes Charming a favor! That HAS to come back in a huge way at some point soon. 😀
Yes, will be very interesting indeed to see what that favour will be! Bet it will have something to do with Henry.
*Emma was looking at her parents’ story in the storybook at the dock. I LOVE that she’s actively looking for and wanting to know about where she was supposed to grow up. Everyone should know where they come from and I’m glad Emma is finally searching and really wanting to know this information now. During this dock scene, she kind of looked like that lost little girl that I always feel is hiding inside her while she was looking at the book.
I like how now they’ve resolved the issue of Snow and Charming wanting different things, so it should be a no brainer for Emma to want to go back too and fully embrace who she is…but now there’s Neal’s aversion to FTL to keep it complicated. Loved the scenes he was in in this ep.

I thought it was really great how they juxtaposed Belle and Lacey- saying word for word the same thing with completely different context.
Yes, even though the stuff in SB was heartbreaking to watch, they did a brilliant job of how they showed the two storylines side by side. Even though there were some little things in the dialogue that matched up perfectly, and the overall theme of them was similar, they still took each world’s story in completely opposite directions. That’s some good writing, right there.
What do Greg and Tamara want to do with Hook??
Well I know what I’d do with Hook if I had him tied up like that. 😉 They probably have something else in mind though.

I also loved the scene where Rumple bursts into the dungeon telling her to be quiet because he couldn’t concentrate. I just loved Belle’s confused face as if to say ‘Oh well I’m so sorry I’m irritating you down here in my little dungeon…oh sorry bed room’
Also I loved the RumBelle hospital scene, until even Rumple decided to lie to her about magic. I’m sorry if people get annoyed by this rant but I just don’t understand why they feel the need to lie to her. I just keep thinking how is she supposed to remember who she is if she isn’t allowed to investigate her suspicions. If they had let her investigate it may have been harder for Regina to turn her into Lacey and the ending may have turned out differently. Although I suppose that kind of ruins the plot line……..
anyway moving on to Least favouriteHook tied up in the back of a van, I mean I laughed so hard when I saw him but really the poor thing
Good always wins < That's just what Rumplestiltskin wants you to think Keeper of Belle's Theme Music, The Queen of Hearts Maze, Cora's Missing Heart,Tiny's Golden Harp

Least Favorite was Rumple beating up the Keith.

Top 5 moments:
Hook being back- Although the poor guy almost needs a medal for the amount of times he’s been bound this season alone 😆
Emma at the docks reading her parents story & then pulling Regina up on her actions.
Emma, Snow & Charming stuff.
Rumple & Lacey’s date…until it went south.
Henry practicing sword fighting.Lowest 5 moments:
Rumple beating the custard out of a totally innocent victim 🙁
Rumple choosing to continue to beat the custard out of his victim, while Lacey stood there, enjoying watching it- sick 😈
Lacey ditching Rumple.
Regina going back to ‘childish’ EQ mode…again.
Regina finding the beans.April 22, 2013 at 12:39 pm #187738RumplesGirlKeymasterYes, the library scene was fantastic. Nice call back to the library scene in The Crocodile. But the library scene in this episode also really hurt because by that point you knew Belle wasn’t coming back this episode and it made me sad.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"April 22, 2013 at 12:59 pm #187742rumbelledearieParticipantWell I’m still frustrated from last night’s episode lol.
This does make things more dangerous for Henry. If Gold were trying to be good still to win back Belle then Henry stood a chance, but Gold has obviously given up on that now. And the game-changer between he and Bae might not be good after all, considering A & E said it happens in episode 21 and as of right now Gold is embracing the dark side. Not to mention in episode 20 or 21 Gold is beating Whale with a cane. So still no change in the whole being bad thing.April 22, 2013 at 1:16 pm #187744PheeParticipant@Hookian wrote:

I didn’t make that connection at all, but I wasn’t watching it as a CaptainSwan shipper. That scene was ALL about the SwanFire feels for me.
Nealfire: “Don’t worry about it, you’ll figure it out. One thing I know about you, you don’t stop til you find what you’re looking for.”
Emma: *awkward half smile*What I read into that smile was her thinking, “If only you knew that I searched for you in Tallahassee for two years, and eventually felt like there was no hope left, but still, here you are sitting in front of me right now, because we were inevitably drawn back together.”
Guess it goes to show that the end of the ep was well written if it can appeal to both rival shipper camps. 😉

Agreed, I didn’t read it as a CaptainSwan scene either. I thought it was just the natural way to end the show: the reveal of the package and the reintroduction of Hook back into the show. But, like Phee, I wasn’t seeing the episode as a CaptainSwan shipper (because I ship SwanFire) and for me the whole Neal/Emma scene was FULL of SwanFire feels. So yeah, different camps read that very differently. Interesting, huh?
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"April 22, 2013 at 3:13 pm #187760angiebelleParticipantRumple didn’t exactly *lie* to Belle in the hospital. He told her that everything would be clear once she got her memories back- which is true. At least Belle didn’t freak out this time!
April 22, 2013 at 3:17 pm #187762beastwhispererParticipantYeah, that scene Neal x Emma scene was all about the Swanfire feels for me too. Very cool that the scene can appeal to other shipping camps as well. Good writing.
And I loved the scene of Rumple giving Belle the library. Like I said before, I loved all of their EF scenes.
Anyhow, here’s a little detail that I noticed that tore my little Rumbeller heart out in a good way:
Rumple is sleeping on Belle’s side of the bed when he has his nightmare! *sigh* It’s the little things that really get me sometimes. Don’t know why, but it just does. Also, her nightmare was in episode 4, and his was in the 4th episode from the end.
