They were silk for sure. 😆
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"April 23, 2013 at 1:14 pm #188040SnickerdoodleParticipantFavorite moments were definitely in FTL between Rumple and Belle — Rumple trying to work while Belle is crying each night and giving her the pillow… protecting Belle from the sheriff… Belle hugging Rumple for missing Robin Hood…giving Belle the library. I will say I loved the way Regina found the bean field following the truck’s tracks. And how I love Hook. It has become a joke about him and the floor. I just smiled and shook my head when he was in the back of that van. I am beginning to think he is a bit of the codfish we see in the Peter Pan movie. Peter was always getting the best of him, and so it happens in our show. They have actually made him true to that character in their own way. I guess we all keep HOPING to see a bit of redemption for him. A&E say that is what the show is about.
As for my least favorite moment, it was that loss of HOPE I felt, when Mr. Gold gave up on trying to find the “Belle” in “Lacey” and embraced his dark side. I realized at that moment both of our villains have reverted to their old selves, and we have rebooted in a sense back to the beginning. A good plan on the part of the writers, just sad for me.
April 23, 2013 at 1:39 pm #188042KebParticipantYeah, that moment of despair, when it didn’t matter anymore, when there wasn’t any point in trying to be good any longer…I hated it because it was heartbreaking and I want Rumple to be good SO MUCH, but the delicious parallels, the reality of those moments–it’s good writing and good acting.
And we’ve now seen Emma (back in Season 1 when she decided to resort to anything to defeat Regina and win), Snow, Regina, and Rumple, as well as a few side characters, all give up on trying to be good. Wonder if Charming ever will…or, depressingly, Henry?
Keeper of Belle's Gold magic, sand dollar, cloaks, purple FTL outfit, spell scroll, library key, copy of Romeo and Juliet, and cry-muffling pillow, Rumple's doll, overcoat, and strength, and The Timeline. My spreadsheet: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B6r8CySCCWd9R0RUNm4xR3RhMEU/view?usp=sharing

I’d be surprised if at some point during the show’s run, we don’t see Henry toying with the dark side to some extent. Bring on the angsty teenage years. 😈
April 23, 2013 at 2:06 pm #188047swanning-offParticipantOK, so stopping to type as I watch without having read the rest of the thread…
1. Not cool moment – why is Regina back in her office doing mayoral type things? When in the hell did she become Mayor again? Huh??? What am I missing? Or is she just very OCD and office like about her…. random documents?
2. Very cool moment – Metallica playing in the Rabbit Hole m/ m/ and I love that Lacey sounds a little bit bogan 😉
3. Very cool moment – “I’m not afraid of him” – go Belle!
4. Epic win – Prince Charming the wingman while Lacey looks for Van Halen on the jukebox 😆
5. “Unlike you, not everyone is scheming all the time.” Regina still doesn’t get it, does she? Does Evil Regal actually know how to be something other than a scheming, manipulative evil queen hellbent on revenge?
6. The parallels between nice Belle & the good Beast and racy Lacey & the Dark One…. I like this direction. Although I do hope it doesn’t go on too long. I need some Rumbelle feels…. like the look on his face when he saw her making out with the Sheriff of Nottingham.
7. So the worst kept secret in town is unearthed due to Regina’s suspicion… yeah. Not overly keen on that melodrama. I would dearly love Evil Regal to pull her head out of her arse…
8. Ah. Hook. The package. So many puns waiting to happen. And ding! Yet another theory we guessed right – Tamara brought Hook to Storybrooke. That also seemed to be a lot of gear boxes – mobile lab?
But absolute favourite moment? BEAUTY & THE BEAST LIBRARY SCENE!!!! 😀 Love it.
April 23, 2013 at 3:32 pm #188078schmackyParticipantYou know the way I took the Emma/Neal scene and then the Tamara/Greg/Hook scene was quasi similar to what people are saying (placement was done purposefully) but instead of it focusing on Hook, it’s a focus on Tamara/Greg.
Neal said that Emma shouldn’t worry and she doesn’t stop until she finds what she’s looking for. What were they talking about? Tamara and Greg basically. Not that they knew they were talking about them, but the threat August spoke of. The threat was Tamara. And Neal says to Emma, she won’t stop until she finds it (the threat)… then it cuts to Tamara and Greg (the threats). To me, that placement was very intentional but it had nothing to do with Hook.
The editing of those two scenes was basically saying, ‘Emma is going to find out who the threat is and in case you guys forgot, here is Tamara the bad girl and just so you’re 100% sure she’s a bad guy, here’s a tied up guy they’re going to do what knows what with.”

Yep. All the speculation can be laid to rest!
April 23, 2013 at 3:52 pm #188087tiara_roseParticipanto any of you read episode reviews online? There is one reviewer at tv.com who is absolutely HILARIOUS. I’m attaching her review of “Lacey” here….

If you are sensitive about your favourite character’s flaws being pointed out you might not enjoy it. However, the writer is still a fan so I think a lot of you will find it funny. It’s worth going back and checking out her reviews of other episodes as well.
One hour after …. still laughing and holding my belly. I think somebody is cane me up. 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆
Heros don't get their Happy Ending!

Very true! And the sooner Emma gets a clue about Tamara the better.
Speaking of Tamara, one of my least fave things is any time GOAT get kissy. Don’t know if it’s just because the character of Tamara makes my skin crawl, but GOAT are a chemistry free zone IMO, and seeing them kiss just feels all kinds of wrong.
