Favorite moments- The kind of upturned half smile Rumple gets after he says… an accent you wouldn’t soon forget. Priceless.
Least favorite- Besides him catching Lacey with Keith (I could have puked) The curtains were open….didn’t she open them when in her blue dress…what happened…now the whole time line is making my head hurt.

Speaking of Tamara, one of my least fave things is any time GOAT get kissy. Don’t know if it’s just because the character of Tamara makes my skin crawl, but GOAT are a chemistry free zone IMO, and seeing them kiss just feels all kinds of wrong.
*emphatic nod* They are just so…ew. 😕

Yes, and it’s probably because I feel sorry for Owen and for what Regina did to him. However, as of now, I have no sympathy for Tamara, since I think she’s using him and Neal. Plus, she killed August.

-Emma and Regina talking on the docks. Love it when Emma says, ‘unlike you the rest of the world isn’t always… “scheming”… to get what they want’. Love the way she says scheming its hilarious in the context of being aimed at Regina
-Liked all the Bell and Rumple moments in the fairy tale land and how Bell was smart enough to realize that Rumple wasn’t all bad deep down. I also like how she wasn’t afraid of him either they have a really good dynamic as their fairy tale personas.
Disliked
-Regina ‘milling’ or ‘swanning’ (whichever cheap pun you prefer) about introducing herself as the mayor and sifting through papers in her office. How did she get to be mayor again and why would anyone let her???
-Does Lacey know about the curse/fairy tale land? Or is she like the others before the curse was broken and thinks that everything is just normal. And if she does then surely she would hear or pick up on people talking about it all like Greg has been? I know she hasn’t been Lacey for long but it would be good if it was clarified just what she knows and doesn’t know.April 24, 2013 at 12:19 am #188220nonnieParticipantOkay… what does GOAT mean?

Yes, that was a major oversight by the CGI department, because he had those curtains nailed shut until Belle came along in her blue dress to symbolically tear them down and let the light in, and that didn’t happen until after Lacey in the timeline.

Do any of you read episode reviews online? There is one reviewer at tv.com who is absolutely HILARIOUS. I’m attaching her review of “Lacey” here….

If you are sensitive about your favourite character’s flaws being pointed out you might not enjoy it. However, the writer is still a fan so I think a lot of you will find it funny. It’s worth going back and checking out her reviews of other episodes as well.
HAHA!!!!!!!! This is Awesome! I’m gonna go back & read her other reviews tonight- thanks for sharing 🙂

Slept on my first impression two nights and rewatched the show, but impression hasn’t changed much. This episode is on my list of worst episodes of this series, and consider to put it on my list of worst episodes of a TV show I’ve ever watched. The main reason is the writing, acting and photography were okay, they made the best of the little given to them. But I make it simple for the moment and just give a fav and least fav list.
least favorite moments:
– well, pretty much most of the episode, because so many things didn’t work for me as narrative, but particular the whole story of “Robin Hood and the Wand”;
– Greg and Tamara – shoo, go away! I still find the idea, outsiders from our world coming to town and how they react to magic and fairy tale characters and maybe are or become a threat, really interesting, but Greg and Tamara don’t do it for me. I couldn’t care less about the characters and their scenes. Think it was too early for such a story.
favorite moments:
– Lacey at the Rabbit Hole. Sassy. I like that character, despite that she might be too much attracted to the bad and powerful, but assuming that this personality is not coming totally out of the blue but drawing from excisting traits, twisting them maybe a little and bringing out what otherwise would be surpressed, it makes Belle as well more interesting.
– Regina and Gold at the mayor’s office. Classy banter. Evil snarky mayor Regina Mills, a pleasure. That scene saved the night for me.
¯\_(?????? ?)_/¯
