So far, we’ve suggested “Bleeding Through” could refer to 1) miscarriage 2) death of a major character 3) mounting conflict. Anything else?

The phrase is thicker than water comes tom mind. It could refer to the idea of what people do for family.

Most likely this is a Cora centric and takes places AFTER the events of the Miller’s Daughter. Eva and Leo are married now but Cora still wants more revenge? She curses Eva and maybe that’s why Eva has such a difficult time getting pregnant with Snow; her first child was born cursed (green) and had to be sent away. This is why Snow is so precious to Eva and Leo. Miracle child.

Cora finds out and curses the pregnant mistress and the child is born green. It doesn’t make sense for Cora to risk her position of power over an affair or an illegitimate child. If Cora did become pregnant with another child that wasn’t Henry’s, I really think she would’ve found a way to cancel the pregnancy so it didn’t come to term.

WWW being Regina’s envious baby sister…
But I think this episode carries the theme that “Blood Is Thicker Than Water”… and I think it deals with Flashback Cora having an affair with the Wizard, and getting pregnant with the Wicked Witch of the West…
Then in present day SB, I think Regina and WWW, being sisters discuss what’s the next step ahead for them, as they were both screwed over by their mother. Not saying it’s gonna be pretty, but that it’s gonna be very, very, very tense discussion between the two of them.

….oh my o_o I think/hope thats a bit too morbid for Once… Though that would be fantastic drama. And Eva and Leo needed Rumpel to conceive? O.o is that speculation? Did the king say that?

Bleed could obvious refer to blood seeping out of a covered wound, but also perhaps to magical effects spilling out unintentionally from one spell to another, or perhaps even an identity cursed away bleeding through the curse that covered it up ?
I don’t think this is a “Cora” centric at all. Why concentrate on the point of view of a character who is dead? I do think she will have a huge role to play as they aren’t going to get Rose on for a quick cameo (then again, they did exactly that with Mirror/Esposito so who knows?). My guess? It is going to be a Rumple centric in the past, showing a deal he made that probably relates to the WWW and Regina’s special link, whether that is sisters, or cousins, or just two magical kids with a curse that swapped one’s malady for the other’s cure. I don’t think it would be far enough back in time to count it as a “young Regina” episode unless they get an actress for younger kid Regina as they did with Bailee for Snow. So that is why I am guessing Rumple will play a big role.
Extra characters exist to tell the story of the main characters in the story, whether they are main supporting or main leading characters. When we first saw young Cora, we had older Cora as a main vaillain and therefore, a main character (but guest star). Now she isn’t an active character so I don’t think it would make sense to feature her the way Miller’s Daughter did.
If WWW is Cora’s sister it feels very ret-conny to me. She could be Eva’s sister though, and she could be present at an event where Leo, Cora and Eva meet. Perhaps Leo was to marry WWW and he fell for Eva instead and WWW and Cora teamed up for revenge? Maybe WWW was Cora’s teacher on the side after Rumple?
So long story short–either we’ll see Rumple in these flashbacks, or WWW, but I think Leo, Cora and Eva are supporting characters in those scenes.
Though I do expect there to be some strange reveal here either between WWW and Snow or Regina but not both (so no Leo and Cora!!!).
Have they started to film this?

February 2, 2014 at 6:39 pm #242451betsypaige24ParticipantMy first reaction was that it did have to do with blood and death, but then I realized that “bleeding through” has a much different connotation. Perhaps worlds are starting to bleed through? That one can touch another? Perhaps this is the episode when present day SB and FTL meet? I don’t know………I don’t like the title, lol, mostly because “bleeding” gets to me, lol
I suspect this is a Regina centric……..Jane tends to write hers lately, when she writes for ONCE at all, and given the casting…….
February 2, 2014 at 7:01 pm #242453WickedRegalParticipantThis is definetly a Regina/WWW centric episode…but Cora centric also in Flashback wise… So this is a Cora/Regina/WWW centric episode, and Rumple will of course play his role in their lives…but I don’t think this is Rumple centric…next episode 19 is Rumple centric I believe
