What if the wedding we heard about is Eva and Leo’s wedding? I’m still trying to work out the political alliance he turns down to marry Eva, but somehow I think it does bad things for Cora ‘s claim to Xavier’s throne. It may also turn a pregnant Cora green with envy, which “bleeds through” to her child, Regina. So maybe there is a baby swap with WWW, or a swap in the sense she ends up bearing the skin curse instead of Regina. I’m not sure who she is though, Eva and Leo’s first child or just someone else in the way or conveniently there to be used?
If they do go to the root of the Snow White story of the drops of blood and all that, it is kind of a neat way to rework it because the Queen wants a child with “skin as white as snow”, an odd contrast to a green skinned child right?

Even though that previous generation are all dead, something to do with all of that is gonna be dredged up in present day. Of course, not knowing for sure what those flashbacks will entail makes it tricky to predict what that something that bleeds through could be.
Assuming that Regina and Snow have progressively been getting along better in present day, (we have no evidence of that really, it’s just what I hope happens), something from the past being brought up again could be a setback for them and for the whole family, which means whatever it is would also affect Henry. So some sort of flashback drama involving parents and children could be fitting. That could also bring the “blood is thicker than water” theme into it as well.

I’ve never had the impression that the two kingdoms were linked. Eva was from “the Northern Kingdom” whatever that is, and was at Xavier’s place as one of the potential future wives for Henry. But that union didn’t happen, so I think it was just a case of Eva eventually marrying another royal from another kingdom instead, and Leo’s kingdom had no impact on the line of succession for Cora and Henry. Cora ended up giving up on Henry’s family’s throne though, and decided to infiltrate Leo’s instead, probably because it would mean getting rid of Eva, who she never liked, so it was a two birds one stone kinda deal – Eva gets what’s coming to her and Cora’s daughter gets a throne.

Interesting idea. There are drops of blood in the promo, and that new pic that the official OUAT Twitter is using, it seems that WW is holding a needle, so perhaps that’s what she uses to prick her finger and drip the promo blood, and that will somehow tie back into the bit from the original Snow White story?

I think that’s a good idea.
I think this is a multi-centric
PAST: Cora va Eva/Leopold
PRESENT: Regina and Snow working together to take down the WWW, showing how Regina is choosing to be different than her mother.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"February 3, 2014 at 8:45 am #242516CindersParticipantI don’t know if we’ve ever seen a story where they’ve switched hearts. Where by switching hearts, each receives the personality of the other, but often their true self bleeds through. Possibly as babies, someone has switched the hearts of WWW and Regina.
I think in times past, Rumple will, in his really snarky voice, caution Cora that she’s not queenly material, and that “the millers daughter” is a part of who she is and is always bleeding through. It bleeds through her, and it will bleed through to her daughter. So, Cora has Regina’s heart switched with Www so she will be purebread royalty.
Unfortunately, I think we might literally see a bleeding through. In a twist of fate, Robin comes to the aid of Regina. An arrow through WWW’s switched heart might slowly kill Regina. Or, using the arrow that always finds it’s mark, Robin will aim for WWW’s heart, the arrow will turn in mid air and strike Regina.
I agree that this will be the episode where someone dies. I can’t see anyone writing a main character death but Adam and Eddie.

Jane Espenson and Daniel Thomsen are writing 3×18. A and E are writing the next episode, 3×19.

Hmmmm, I dunno if they’d go there because of the Henry factor. That would mean that Regina loved Henry with someone else’s heart, which would make her love for him come across as sorta being fake, and I don’t think they’d want that.

That would be seriously sad. Regina’s meant to be Robin’s soulmate, so would they show him killing her, even inadvertently?

They’re not writing this one, they’re doing the next one. This one is Jane, and the one before that is David Goodman. Jane and David are both producers as well, so I could see either of them being allowed to write the death ep if Adam and Eddy don’t do it themselves.
February 3, 2014 at 9:34 am #242535RumplesGirlKeymasterWhile personally I can’t see A and E handing off the death of a major character (series regular at that) to anyone, they do have script approval on all projects, so it’s possible they’d let anyone write it.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"February 3, 2014 at 9:47 am #242538kfchimeraParticipantThat would be tragic Cinders.
I thought maybe as a crack thing they’d do a version of that Minnie Driver movie about a heart transplant person who falls in love with the widower of the woman that donated the heart. So Regina gets attacked and they give her Marian’s heart.
I think bleeding through definitely refers to one situation affecting another, and not necessarily to blood relationships in general. It could refer to a wound as well of some type, but I think the general use of the term has nothing to do with blood ties or family ties.
I think it will be on Regina, Robin, Snow, WWW and Rumple present day and the past Cora/Eva/Leo/Rumple. So I’d count it as a Rumple episode and that make sense as Jane wrote it and does a lot of Rumple.

February 3, 2014 at 12:33 pm #242558obisgirlParticipantI had this thought last night, and I think it would nicely tie the Snow White story with Rumple and Cora.
Eva and Leopold get engaged, married and then soon after, Eva quickly becomes pregnant but Cora curses the child Eva is carrying. In desperation to make sure the child is okay, Eva goes to Rumple and he puts a protection spell on the child and to make it valid, he pricks Eva’s finger and enchants it or something. So, for the nine months and until she gives birth, the child is protected by magic.
