I just wanted to say that I believe that the wands are different. Here’s what I think is different:
1) In everything picture that shows the Fairy god mother’s (FGM) wand you can see that it’s hilt color (blue) is very shiny blue. But Robin’s wand’s hilt color is very hard to identify it looks black or very dark blue, not like the FGM’s shiny blue.
2) Also if you carefully count the little twists in the wands’ hilts, Robin’s wand’s hilt has 4 twisty lines & FGM’s wand hilt has 5 twisty lines.
3) When comparing both pictures, Robin’s wand’s hilt looks thinner than the FGM’s wands hilt which really looks fatter.
Btw, I personally can see the wands in more detail when I have maximum brightness in my laptop & when I bend the lid towards me (like if I were to close the lid). Maybe that will help some people see the photos better.

About Belle’s time with Rumple, I wanted to say that I believe that Belle was with Rumple after the Genie became the magic mirror guy. I believe that Regina’s mirror magic comes from him (ex-Genie) & we know that Rumple had the mirror covered (since Belle got to the castle) because of Regina. Also I wanted to share a picture of my timeline & ask if any of you have a timeline of your own (right now it’s missing the Lacey fairy tail part I haven’t re watch the episode) 🙂
[adrotate group="5"]I suppose it is much simpler if it is a different wand…but I always do like when they add new meaning to old scenes. Or even better, when they had something in mind and are finally playing it out.

A thought just came to me, I wonder if the deal that saw him originally get the wand could have had something to do with the FGM wanting to become human, perhaps because she’d fallen in love? That’s a deal that would require her to give up her wand, and also something she’d be looked down on for by other fairies. (Also, because I watched The Little Mermaid for the first time in years the other day, I totally connected the tongue stealing to that, and now this idea of Rumple having made a fairy into a human to be with a man she’d fallen in love with…don’t mind me, I’m seeing potential Ariel anvils dropping everywhere.)
So then we have a FormerFGM who had a baby with the man she became human for. Let’s call this baby…Marian. Marian grows up, falls in love with Robin, and when Marian is pregnant, she becomes deathly ill. The only thing that will cure her is fairy magic. So in order to save the life of her daughter, and unborn grandchild, FormerFGM tells Robin to go and steal back her wand from Rumple. Once she has her wand back, FormerFGM reverts to her FGM form, which is how we see her when Rumple explodes her and steals the wand back again.

Yes, if FGM had double crossed Rumple by sending Robin to steal back her wand, if she was smart, she’d have gone into hiding after that, knowing that Rumple would want to come after her. Also, going along with the theory I just proposed, if Rumple was going to also be after Robin, Marian, and the unborn baby, perhaps the newly reinstated FGM used her magic to send them somewhere safe…like a land without magic. Perhaps?

That’s just lighting in the pic you have- I posted a screen shot showing Robin using the wand & the hilt is bright blue :
– it IS 100% the same wand- I have no doubts there…either we have timeline wrong, Rumple obtained & had the wand in his procession on 2 separate occasions or the prop department has royally screwed up- because it is EXACTLY the same wand he took from Cinder’s FGM.

Agree with Phee re your timeline, I tried to get the timeline to work once before in the middle of S1 & gave up- imagine what A&E’s complete timeline looks like! 😯
Uffff I finished the 30 day challenge thing, it was interesting ^_^. Ok, now I’ve totally seen the light with that picture thanks Surayya & Phee! Jeez it’s interesting what light can do. I seriously have to re-watch the episode very soon.
So I started the timeline when I got the Blue-rays. I tried to use the computer for it, but writing it down & then cutting the paper & using tape to move the things around has made it easier. I also use different markers so its more easy on the eye :). I have to admit that the main reason that made me fall in love with the show is the FTL timeline. To me each FTL scene is a piece to a big puzzle & I really like puzzles so it’s something that I truly enjoy. What I have tho are facts straight from the episodes. I haven’t added anything that I believe may have happened just in case I’m wrong. I also add the episode # to know specifically where I got each info from.My timeline is a spreadsheet. It’s currently got…1317 entries on it, though I didn’t do as thorough a job with some of the earlier episodes, so it will probably get longer even without adding new eps (which will happen).
I’m planning to do a “timeline light” at some point that isn’t as scene-by-scene and just covers the big stuff.
What I love most is when stuff in the FTL timeline intersects and you wind up with alternating episodes as the moments mesh together. It’s beautiful (even if it IS harder to map out and insert new lines etc).
Most of the not-shown stuff I’ve put in my timeline are things like characters’ births, mainly for reference. And with a few exceptions, those are pretty much guesses.
