Not the least bit surprised, that they won’t be in this episode, nor expecting them for the rest of the season. Not surprised either, that people got a different impression.
The reason I have this impression is because EdR gave an interview recently where she said Robin was a character who would be around for the last episodes of the season. So I’m expecting at least him back before season’s end.

ABC Promos have randomly used shots from previous episodes that end up not being relevant to the episodes they are promoting at all. That shot was from the Season 1 finale “A Land Without Magic.”
Anyway, as for the episode synopsis, wow. It seems Regina really hasn’t learned her lesson concerning trying to force Henry to be with her. Henry will NOT agree with living with her alone in FTL while everyone else is killed, but once again her hatred and desire blinds her.
But her plan revolves around a fail-safe that was planted within the curse, which if triggered could wipe Storybrooke off the map ]
I thought Rumble created the curse how would she know about this ❓
Question: Why and how did Robin Hood get a magic bow and why would Rumble let him keep the wand ❓
What if the Wand belong to the same person who gave Robin Hood the magic bow ❓

I’ve been wondering about this too- but more, ‘Why would Rumple himself, include a fail safe that would wipe him out & so never be able to find his son again?’- makes no sense…..UNLESS Regina added it in 😉
Answer: A) Probably from a fairy & B) I don’t think he did because he has it again in SB- it was probably dropped in the cart when Rumple shot the arrow into it.
Pretty sure the wand belonged to the fairy Rumple exploded 😉 & It could have I guess…before she got exploded 😉
I don’t think it can belong to the fairy godmother Rumple killed in The Price of Gold. That event took place about a year before the Curse hit and by that time, Belle has already been taken by Regina, so the events of The Price of Gold take place after both Skin Deep and Lacey.
As to the bow…..pffft. I have no idea. I’m really interested to know how Robin got that bow. In the myth of Robin Hood, he is always known as a perfect marksman, he can hit anything from extraordinary distances. But they magicked the bow in OUAT.

I’ll go back & look at some screen shots, because it glowed gold & he killed a golden fairy (Blue is blue & her wand is too)….

It can’t be the wand that Gold got from killing the Fairy Godmother, because he still has that wand. He used it in QoH. The wand Robin used to cure Marian, is still in Robin’s possession, the last time we saw it. Also, it doesn’t fit with the timeline.
